Phil bites the dust…

Punxsutawney Phil, the King of the Groundhogs was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after predicting an early spring (which has YET to get here).

phil suicide

After a Prosecutor in Ohio filled out a warrant for his arrest (HERE), a number of ‘people’ started looking for Phil, and he was heard to be on the lamb from PA.

Nothing was said about any ‘contract’ to get Phil, even though a ‘number’ of highly placed individuals were questioned as to their whereabouts early this morning at sunrise…

  1. I heard that Phil was found, hacked to death by an axe by agents of the Department of Homeland Security and that it was registered as a suicide even though no axe was found at the scene. I guess that much like Benghazi, we will never know the truth. As fmr SecState and presidential hopeful, Hillary Rodham Clinton said, “What does it matter?”

As with CenTexTim, I was standing under a clock next to President Obama (yes, at a golf course – where else), holding a newspaper, when the unfortunate incident occurred. I have photographic proof of my innocence so please don’t send the drone to take me out.

  2. At least he chose a fine handgun for the act. Is it for sale?

  3. Just as well he did himself in . . . . wasn’t lookin’ forward to another PA trip . . . .

  4. “I know what you’re thinking, Punx; did he fire six shots or only five? Well, in the excitement I kinda forgot, myself; but being that this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you got to ask yourself one question: do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, Punx? DO YA?”
