There you go again: injecting reality into a perfectly good dream made of whimsy & frivolity. Pfooey.
Durned realist.
My absolute dream is my own P-51.
And its cruel of you to pop the bubble…
I hesitated for a second… to comment on this one, but the over whelming desire to have an ol Stearman got the better of me.
Wonderful graphic. FAA is synonymous with all government. It’s a drag.
Alas…BTDT.
Rev- Sorry
LL- You and me BOTH! Sigh…
Brighid- You can have the Yellow Peril! 🙂
Opus- And it’s ONLY getting worse!
Crucis- Yep!
Ain’t that the truth.
Reality? We don’t want no stinking reality!
Or, as an old friend was fond of saying, “If you can’t have something, want the very best”.
Murph- yep…
WSF- LOL, true dat!
Isn’t your picture of the four forces mislabeled? I thought that “Reality was a drag”… Which would mean the the FAA keeps trying to ground you?
I thought the force keeping the plane in the air was $$$?
I like the graphic but I almost think you need to rename 2 of them…have the FAA in front and the money behind to show what has been spent or just put the other in parenthesis. Still a very good graphic. I showed it to a few airplane mechanics that I work with and they got a laugh out of them.
WN- Reality is gravity, FAA is a DRAG (trying to stall your ass out)!
