Bottom line, we ALL hope we never have to use it, but having the knowledge just might save our life or someone else…

  1. I see I have to make a few changes to my emergency kit.

    If you can, send two people to meet the EMTs. That way they keep each other calm, and it lessens the crowd a little more. (This is based on the only time I used CPR outside of the classroom.)

    My last employer did not think it worthwhile to train employees in CPR or AED. A lawsuit waiting to happen.

  2. Too many treat a first aid kit like a life preserver: purchased & stored, and hoped that it’s never needed. There’s some very useful stuff in that link; thanks for that.
