Guns and criminals…

A tragedy occurred in Charleston, SC this week. Nine men and women were killed by a punk with a gun. It seems all the MSM along with BO, the Clintons, and the rest of the LWL are dancing in the blood of these good people. It took me a while to actually FIND the names of those who were killed.

Here is the list-

Sharonda Coleman-Singleton

Reverend Clementa Pinckney

Cynthia Hurd

Tywanza Sanders

Myra Thompson

Ethel Lee Lance

Rev. Daniel L. Simmons

Rev. Depayne Middleton-Doctor

Susie Jackson

More information on each of them can be found on Buzzfeed HERE.

My heart goes out to these families in their time of loss, and there are no words to express how badly I feel. These are the people we need to remember. They were the innocent victims, unable to defend themselves…

They were at church in a bible study and were gunned down by this little punk. And no, I’m not naming him. He’s been caught, and I hope South Carolina puts him to death.

Rather than concentrating on the INDIVIDUAL that did this, and delving into his motives/life, it’s automatic to blame guns… And while this is a tragedy, to me it’s an even bigger tragedy that our ‘leaders’ rather than looking at root causes, have gone immediately to hate crime (which I believe it is), and domestic terrorism, while calling for more gun laws.

What do these people not understand about the fact that criminals DO NOT OBEY LAWS?

BO’s comment- “At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this kind of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries,”

Just set my teeth on edge… Sweden, France, and Britain all have MORE restrictive laws than we do, and they’ve all suffered mass shootings too.

And CNN is going right along with the agenda… HERE. But never named the victims… Too busy dancing in the blood…

Say a prayer for them, and for their families in this time of grief. I hope the media has the decency to give these families time to mourn and bury their dead in privacy and peace.

Guns and criminals… — 17 Comments

  1. Two words come to mind: tragic, and despicable.

Tragic. Thoughts and prayers for the victims and their loved ones.

Despicable. You have to wonder at the mindset of people who try to score political points while the bodies of the victims are still warm.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember barry running to the microphone to lecture us about gun laws after the Ft. Hood shooting.

  2. How many US service men and women died in the service of their country around the world over the past 30 days and what are their names?

As profoundly sad as the shooting at the church was, and don’t get me wrong, it was bloody and horrible — if just one of those people at that service had been armed, it would have been game-over for that punk.

Barack and Hillary are taking it in the wrong direction. They maintain that the government will deliver us from evil – and it never will. Not ever. We have to deal with those problems ourselves as they arise, lawfully and effectively.

  3. Tim- Can’t agree more, and no, he never mentioned it about Ft. Hood…

LL- Concur, but ironically, in SC it’s against the law to bring a gun into a church without permission…

    • I realize that people are sensitive about firearms. I get it. But sometimes the flock of sheep needs a sheepdog even if they don’t know it.

  4. Let him repent in the face of the Christian witness of forgiveness he’s receiving.
    Then hang him.
We have to set an example.
He would never have left MY Bible study.
One of the wives might have gotten him before me or their husbands.

  6. Agree with all. We have a president that opens his mouth and speaks without paying attention to facts. It is like, “I said it; it is a fact”. The rest of the (P)regressives take up the hue and cry without any critical analysis. Then they ask, “Why can’t we have a rational discussions about guns”? Aarg! Excuse me while I find some duct tape for my exploding head.

  7. LL- Yep, they do… Sigh…

    Ed- Understood!

WSF- Here- It’s blue, but it works… sigh

  8. I was approached this morning by a member of a local church who wants to set up a team of parishioners to deal with situations like this and asked me to consult.

I referred him to a specialist I know.

  9. The President must live on a diet of shoe leather, stomach lining, and cigarettes. Early on he lambasted a campus police officer who confronted someone at what appeared to be a B&E, resulting in a beer summit. His reoccurring poor timing is incessant, such as “Better opportunity after re-election”. Now this comment about not happening in advanced countries. It’s scary how clueless that comment was. Didn’t he just skip the Charlie Hedbo march early this year? The Stupid is Strong in this One. Hello!
As always, my condolences to those lost family members…

  10. WN- True, and Sweden, and England… Where was Jeanne Assam when she was needed? Not allowed, that’s where…

    NC- Agreed!

  11. The Pastor at the church I attended in Oklahoma REQUIRED me to carry. He actually told me he never wanted to see/know that I was unarmed.
Now, the church I attend here in NM has active security. They almost remind me of govt suits, they have ear mounted comm devices and the ones that wear their shirts untucked are obviously carrying owb. Pastor here knows I carry, in fact he does too.

  12. The elderly minister of our rural Methodist church pastored with a wonderful mix of love, common sense, compassion, and logic. Several years before I retired, there was a spate of random outlawry in the area. In a private chat one morning, I mentioned that if a situation arose, I’d do what I safely could for the safety of the congregation. The preacher indicated he’d be glad for the help if things got noisy. Turned out he kept his bird gun in his car, with a .45 automatic “a bit handier.”

  13. Craig- It’s sad, but yes it IS to that point these days…

Johnny- I remember the pastor over in East Texas at the church my Aunt and Uncle attended the preacher and probably half the members carried… And this was back in the 60s! Folks in the rural communities tend to ‘handle’ things themselves… 🙂
