The last box…

Finally got to the last box in the move. Yea!!!

It rattled, so now I’m wondering what’s in it…FullSizeRender (1)

Ah, more magazines… Another 21 in fact, plus more holsters…FullSizeRender (2)

And before you ask, yes those are old .mil AR mags. At least they’re green follower ones. I see two H&K AR mags, and a few P-Mags in that bunch too.

And the rest of the box was MORE cleaning stuff, and holsters…

Sigh, I really thought I’d cleaned out the spare holsters, but it looks like I didn’t do a real good job. Once again the lesson is learned about multiple locations, and multiple ‘copies’ of things.

The dump truck is full, and I DO mean full…

I still can’t believe how much paper the packers used… And one set of blinds had to go away, as they were damaged (at least I didn’t break the window)…FullSizeRender (4)

Now comes the rearranging, and cleaning before the guests get here…

Dammit, I’m working harder NOW than when I had a real job…LOL

  1. I bet the house looks bigger now that all the boxes are gone and things are put away. It’s a shame your guest aren’t OCD. They could have your place cleaned and set up in no time.

  2. I think I have upgraded all of the older metal AR mags with new springs and followers, but now that the OCD has kicked in I will have to check. Indeed, a great idea would be to unload the mags through the muzzle!

When we installed the last round of blinds I assumed that just because the maker said you needed about an inch of space for the bracket I knew better than they did. Thank goodness for the wire feed welder and the basement machine shop.

And by the way, when you forget to add in the tape measure length it does make one of the blinds rather short. I placed the old blind/new blind splice under the valance and it looks kinda OK.

After you take your deep breath and settle in, what will be the first thing you change?

  3. So the stuff is all out of the boxes… GREAT.
Now comes the slow work of getting everything organized and in its proper place.
No thanks. I’d rather have a root canal.
(And Navy, I’d feel a lot sorrier for you if I didn’t know you still had time to get involved about the Sad Puppy/Rabid Puppy controversy!) 🙂

  4. Good for YOU!
After moving from a 740 sq ft house to an 11×17 room over 3 years ago, I STILL have boxes!
Because there is no place to put everything…
    Again, good for YOU!
