Enough with the damn social engineering in the military already… Sigh…
Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus recently sent a memo to Marine Commandant Gen. Robert Neller directing him to review the Marine Corp’s position titles to ensure their gender neutrality.
Mabus told Neller to drop the term “man” from position titles so that they become gender integrated by the deadline of April 1, according to the Marine Corps Times.

Mabus is NOT making any friends here, and he’s pushing the envelope of getting an outright rebellion by cramming this down the Marines’ throats on 2 weeks notice. Especially after ignoring the results of the integrated company study…
In other news, BO’s presser has blown up not only talk radio, but the various TV shows with the dems/liberals trotting out the same old saws, blaming the NRA and saying this is all ‘legal’ steps by the prez. I swear they must email out the talking points early in the AM, because I must have heard the same ‘arguments’ from at least 6 or 8 of the dems talking heads, damn near word for word yesterday…

Another great dinner from Phlegmmy tonight, I’ve got to watch it, or I’m going to weigh WAY too much… Bachelor cooking vs. real meals aren’t good for my pear shape… I’ve been suffering from CTD… Chest fell into the drawers… sigh
Off to spend the last (hopefully) $$ tomorrow on upgraded stuff. New stove top, oven and range hood. I think the range hood and oven are original to the house, and it’s time for them to go.
Phelgmmy, Jenn and Dot don’t know it yet, but they’re going to be doing pictures this weekend. Why not use their design sense to ‘place’ the random artwork I’ve collected over the years… 😀

Chesty Puller would have eaten Mabus for breakfast, if the whole thing weren’t beneath his dignity. And to think we used to make fun of Admiral Zumwalt’s eyebrows, and the matching beards he encouraged us to grow.
Things will settle down shortly, which is a good thing. Enjoy the home cookin’ now, because you’ll be eating your own chow ere long. 🙂

Sadly, Gen. Neller will shortly be forced into retirement! He just doesn’t “think right”. That will pretty much clean out all the ‘old thinkers”, Sec. of Defense, on down !!!!

Secretary Mabus dismissed the findings of their experiments, you know, based on his years of experience (actually, he has two years of service as a “surface warfare officer” aboard the USS Little Rock while it was mostly in dry dock at Boston Naval Shipyard).
Perhaps Marbus should pull his head out of his ‘liberal social justice’ ass, and order the Marines to get more lethal and combat read. As for BO, he was on the golf course NINE MINUTES after his tearful, Oscar winning performance, on gun control. I am glad he was able to pull himself together in time for the first tee.
