All good things must come to an end, and so the party has…
A few of our favorite things…
And shrimp! 🙂
Most folks departed today, but it’s been a good two days, lots of good conversation, sly humor, puns, discussions ranging far and wide, and a great group of folks…
I think I’m going to sleep till Wednesday… LOL
Thanks to everyone that helped out with the cooking, cleaning, and everything else!
And thank you for hosting us, sir. We had a great time! Now I’ve got to diet for a couple of weeks to get rid of the weight I put on with all that good food . . .
*Sigh*
Don’t be sad, Jim, the leftover food will last all week. 😉
One of the joys of being retired, you can party all weekend, and sleep in all week to recuperate.
What a blessed man you are, to have such friends. 🙂
Peter- Sorry ’bout that! Not!!! 🙂
Grog- LOL, I ‘might’ be able to stretch it to Thursday, there wasn’t much left after the herd of locusts, er… guests made another pass or three…
Dammit- LOL, I wish, except I wake up at 0600, wanted or not.
Rev- That I am, and thankful too!!!
Calories and cholesterol don’t count when consumed while standing up.
Keep telling yourself that.
No way!
You had Devilled eggs left over?!!
That gives me a sad.
Lol!
I love those things.
Stubbs!
Stretch- I actually lost two pounds… 🙂
Phil- Wasabi version, and Jalapeno version. They were consumed! LOL
John- Yep, ate at his place in Lubbock as a kid, love that taste!
Well, if you insist on conducting chemical warfare via devilled egg (putting fire bombs, er, raw jalapenos on them) then they’re safe from being eaten by me. 🙂 I noticed that the plain ones vanished almost as quickly as the “warmed” versions, though.
If Texas ever actually does TEXIT, I’m coming to your house to stay until I can change citizenship.
Thank You! It was a great time!
TX- Yep, they were ALL gone by Sunday afternoon…LOL
PH- You’re more than welcome! 🙂
Sounds like a good time was had by all.
