In the wake of the Orlando atrocity, and Istanbul, we have new polls out…
In a new Gallup poll released, a nearly two-to-one margin of Americans (64 to 34 percent) think that increasing the number of people carrying concealed handguns will help prevent terrorism. Even 45 percent of Democrats agree.
This comes from a National Review piece by John Lott, HERE.
Even the Brits are carrying the polls, like the Independent, HERE. But there are some notable errors, like the shooter only reloading once, but shooting over 100 times…
I think the Brit reporter has watched too many Hollyweird movies…
And of course the Dems did a ‘protest’/fund raiser by doing a sit-in on the floor of the House (I believe both of these are actually illegal according to House Procedures), and pouted because ‘their’ special little gun bill didn’t get reviewed… sigh…
Sooo… The left continues to push their agenda, regardless of what the PEOPLE want. They continue to rely on push polling, and ‘leaders’ to expound on what is ‘best’ for us peons…
Hellloooo… You ‘might’ want to take a look at what just happened in England with the Brexit vote… Or not…
I swear these people are so insulated from reality, they wouldn’t know reality if it slapped them up side the head…

Lastly, on the bad news side, apparently the TN law everyone ‘thought’ was going into place holding business owners responsible if they posted no gun signs, apparently got watered down. Say Uncle has the update HERE.
The REAL agenda ‘should’ be to celebrate our country’s independence, since it IS the 4th of July weekend, but since the PC police are frothing at the mouth about all kinds of perceived slights, etc. I wonder what the celebrations will be like.

IM(nv)HO, the best anti terrorist action is for all the citizens to be carrying their personal concealed weapon. They should be prepared to engage terrorists whenever they slither out from beneath their flat rock.

Funny how when foreign stuff goes down…we get on the gun toting bandwagon, but when it happens at home…take them away. I get so confused. I think all states should just pass open carry laws and be done with it. Hell with the sissies. Just my opinion. 😀

My rights exist whether you understand them, believe them, agree with them or not. That’s why they are called RIGHTS.
This is the 4th of July week-end here at Cedar Creek Lake and the “Dallasites” who own homes here(many thousands)all visit the fireworks stands here.
It is a Texas tradition to shoot off as many as you can.
Brings back old memories. Just don’t blow any whistles!

There was a time I thought if it wasn’t life threatening it wasn’t fun.
It is remarkable how pain and scar tissue has modified my youthful opinions on not only that issue but others as well.
