The Geography of a Recession

This is a scary video; it shows, by county and state, the spread and the breadth and depth of unemployment from 2007 to today. It’s also interesting to note the places (CA and MS) that already had high unemployment in 2007. We need to take back control of our country and help small businesses (the real employment generators) get back to ‘business’… Just sayin…

  1. I saw this video a few weeks ago. I was a bit smug when it started because Missouri still showed a higher employment rate than many of the rest.

That smugness faded away as the video continued. At the end, one of them was me.

  2. Makes me sick to my stomach. Many, many people in my extended family are losing what they have worked years to earn.

Vote them out; all of them. Don’t contribute to an incumbent. Due contribute to their opponents. You can vote often. Once at the polls and as often as you want with your checkbook.

  3. Keep the good ones. If you can’t tell the difference between the good ones and the bad ones, How are you going to vote a good one in?
Or ae you going to put bad ones back in and call it “Change and Hope”?

  4. All- Hopefully this IS a wakeup call… I’d say vote them ALL out and start over, simply put, we can do no worse…

  5. Leave the good ones in? Who can tell anymore? The ones we thought might be good turned out to be no better, if not worse, than the others. They’re all cut from the same cloth. Get rid of ’em. ALL of ’em.

  6. It’s easy to tell the good ones. Watch their voting records and what they say. Be sure what they do matches what they say. If BOTH meet your criteria, keep’em in.

There are some good conservatives in Congress. Jim DeMint has been excellent in laying into the dems and Obama. Michele Bachmann is another as is Paul Ryan.

I’ll admit, many, like McCain, Snow, Collins and Lindsay Graham have gotta go. We don’t need any RINOs.
