New Arizona State Flag…

Got this from a friend in Phoenix, AZ today; along with the following comment…

Most especially for all Liberal Mexifornians (that’s most of ’em), boycott us and our DUI rate will drop along with the shoplifting, murder, kidnappings, etc.

Interestingly, there has apparently been a drop in crime since the law was passed… unintended consequences, or a true effect; much like when Florida and Texas authorized concealed carry and violent crimes against persons dropped by 33% ???

You tell me…

  1. OK, that cracked me up. And I think that it should be adopted immediately.

  2. I hear that Governor Brewer will visit with Obama soon about the new AZ law. Perhaps she should take one of the new flags along as a gift to BO.

  3. I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. All of us ought to have the right to be treated as he would wish to be treated, as one would wish his children to be treated, but this is not the case.

I know the proponents of this law say that the majority approves of this law, but the majority is not always right. Would women or non-whites have the vote if we listen to the majority of the day, would the non-whites have equal rights (and equal access to churches, housing, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges and yes water fountains) if we listen to the majority of the day? We all know the answer, a resounding, NO!

Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free. In a time of domestic crisis men of good will and generosity should be able to unite regardless of party or politics and do what is right, not what is just popular with the majority. Some men comprehend discrimination by never have experiencing it in their lives, but the majority will only understand after it happens to them.

  4. Benito, all good intentions aside, illegal immigrants are BREAKING *O*U*R* LAWS – if “we” are to turn a blind eye to that, what about traffic laws? Banking laws? Laws prohibiting rape & murder? WHERE does your equivocation end?

Historically, it’s appeared that if the ‘little laws’ are obeyed, there’s much less need to enforce the ‘big laws’ …………

  5. Benito: If you are here legally (you have a “Legal Presence” in the parlance), you are not affected. If you broke our laws to come here, are living here unlawfully, then you are a criminal and I have no moral obligation to condone your existence in our country.

As for color or nationality (the ubiquitous “racism” charge), piss off. The law is color blind. If you are an illegal alien from Ireland or Namibia, or Pakistan, or China, or VietNam, or Canada (yes, we get all of those too) then you are still here ILLEGALLY and need to be deported.

This is about the law, not about race.

  6. I have a reply to Benito – but there’s so much of it I ended up posting it on my own blog. Check it out if you care to…

  7. DM/Newbuis- Thanks

Benito- If you are here LEGALLY, this doesn’t affect you at all. This country has LAWS and PROCEDURES to enter the country legally… Should we mirror Mexican laws for those who enter the country? Would that please you? I think not…

  8. There is nothing wrong witht the Arizonian law as written. What is wrong is the interpretation of those against it. This is for one of two reasons. 1)They can’t read and are ignorant of what the law actually says. 2)They refuse to read it and interpret it as written because this would no longer fit their liberal agenda.

So, those who are opponents of this law are either ignorant or disingenuous.

  9. I passed the link to this post to some friends. They wanta know where they can buy this AZ flag.

    It’s a keeper for sure.

  10. ADM- Yep 🙂

Mark- Concur, all it does is MIRROR the current Federal law…

Crucis- I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t start seeing them for real…

  11. Interestingly, there has apparently been a drop in crime since the law was passed…

    Wow!

I’ve been out of touch for a while and didn’t know that good news.

  12. Try living and working in Mexico and adhering to their laws if you think our law in AZ is discriminatory.

  13. Get out of this country benito and anyone else who is here illegally. I am tired of paying all of the extra taxes because you refuse to work and pay taxes yourself. We would save a ton of money if we were not giving out so much SSI to all the illegals that wont work but have a P.O. box so they can say they have a residence here in order to get welfare. The level of crime would drop even more if we could put full military on the borders permanently. But we know this will only happen temporarily until some people in the higher up positions get re-elected. Quit screeming racial prejudice. That is crap. that is just an excuse for the worthless ACLU to say “lets make a name for ourselves and back this”.. If the ACLU had their way they would try to get all inmates released saying they were just poor misguided people that had a rough childhood.. It’s all about choice.. Inmates had a choice to commit a crime and they got caught. Now you have a choice. Go back to your own country or go to jail then get sent back after serving time in a cell.. Upto you..
