  1. Been there, got the shirt.
From the O club to Tachikawa is a looooooooong way.
And 13 hours without a smoke? Oh hell yes.

  2. No, we are not young anymore. What we are… is at a time when we must choose what we do more carefully, rather than bull through and do everything. We can still do anything we wish, just not all at the same time.

Nothing wrong with a night out pub crawling, as long as you leave a recovery day in place after it.

    At least… that’s how I’m finding it (g)

  3. Oh hope the aspirin helped, Old NFO, I had a deck drinking gathering and spent all day and night yesterday trying to recover, as for aspirin, may have helped if it had stayed in my belly…..:(
happy trails! (this is definitly one thing I will admit to being to old to do anymore, God help me!)

  4. Since I’ve done the same thing a time or two lately, I’ll just quietly tiptoe through, leave a few extra aspirin & tell ya to feel better, soon. 😉

  5. A few minutes of breathing ABO and you would have felt much better. The universal cure for flight crews around the globe.

  6. Careful with the aspirin or you’ll be lamenting it, too. Definitely stay away from Tylenol for a few days. And, no, a big glass of dog hair won’t help either. Maybe you can sleep on the flight. Hope you feel better soon.

  7. I love any story that has “Marines” and “drinking” in it 🙂

They do all have kind of similar endings though, go figure…

  8. Skip- I hadn’t thought about Tachi in YEARS! That brings back some memories…

Carteach0- Excellent point, but trust me, flying 13 hours is NOT the way to recover…

Gia- Actually I ran out of aspirin, and ended up with Tylenol, which is probably better… And I’m there with ya!

    Snigs- Thanks… 😀

    Supi- I’m tryin…

WSF- I’m STILL trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up 🙂

Gerry- I wish I could have gotten to some, trust me!

Hiroshi- I did switch to Tylenol, but at that point I couldn’t spell it… 🙂

Crusty- Trust me I did, and I am…

K- Agreed, I didn’t get any sleep on the flight (I never do), but I did drink about 2 gallons of water, so plenty of visits to the little boy’s room in flight…

    Fuzzy- Tryin…

ORPO- Oh yeah, ain’t telling ANY of THOSE stories 🙂

    Groundhog- Yeah… sigh… 🙂

  9. I know I shouldn’t be laughing….can’t help it.
Reminds me of a time on Okinawa.
