BAG day present to myself…

Yea… FINALLY…

@#$&*# NICS…

Anyhoo, here’s the new addition- MT6700, but with a twist… Let’s see if the experts can spot the two differences… 🙂

Left Profile

Screwed together 🙂  and no model number…

Right Profile, and my guess is less than 200 rounds through it…
The case deflector is not even scuffed!

And even though the markings are .223, here’s the barrel that’s in it

Ohhh… Gotta relearn how to shoot these… Now WHERE did I stick my glasses…

Glad now that I didn’t sell that case of FGMM .223 in 62 grains… At least I will have something to shoot in it, and dry fire confirms this rifle hasn’t had a lot of rounds through it… Trigger needs a bit of smoothing, but I’ll take it, enjoy it, and WILL shoot it!!!

  1. What a beauty. Had one almost like it stolen from me two years ago. Congratulations. My grip was more upright.

  2. Robert- Thanks!

DB- I was surprised when it popped up too!

    Stephen, sorry to hear that.

Andy- NOW we have to go shoot em…

    drjim- Yep 🙂

Jon- If I can find one…

  3. Andy – I don’t know, man. It looks like Old NFO’s going to be driving that 350Z around…

    I’m a whore for a sweet HBAR.

  4. My last AR was a Pre-Ban Colt HBAR, although it was pinned.

Does yours have another screw behind the trigger guard, going up into the upper?

  5. Msgt- No Z for me…LOL

    Rick- Thanks

Julie- These are good ones, but I don’t think you can own one in Aussie land…

Carteach0- Nope, the back one is a standard pin

  6. I see a Colt vs. Bushmaster shoot off in our future!
Try using some Slipstram on the trigger. Good stuff.

  7. Jim, once you get your neck straighened out, the AR platform is great at an Appleseed. Besides I still have that SPAM and an Appleseed Challenge coin for you. Just sayin….

  8. Nice. Another one to bring out to the 400-yard line whenever you can get here. I’ve got it’s Bushmaster clone so we can evaluate ’em side-by-side.
And then there will be beer.

  9. I love the 20″ AR rifles. I still remeber the day when this gigantic jarhead place the M16A2 in my hands, and I thought it was a false god considering I had grown up with blue steel and walnut. It didn’t take me long to love my M16. . .
