A ‘Maxine’ worth reading…
Minorities
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
They travel miles in the heat.
They risk their lives crossing a border.
They don’t get paid enough wages.
They do jobs that others won’t do or are afraid to do.
They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language.
They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.
I’m not talking about illegal Mexicans

I’m talking about our troops!
Doesn’t it seem strange that so many are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don’t support our troops?
Wouldn’t it be great if we took the $360,000,000,000 (that’s billion) we spend on illegals every year, and spend it on our troops???
What a ‘novel’ concept… actually FUND the military to get new equipment, rather than CUT $450 Billion and face another $500 Billion cut when sequestration happens this fall…
And contrary to an email, NO this was NOT taken of my gun safe, but I’m workin on it… 🙂

Talked to my son, the Medic, today. His Ft. Carson ambulance is a M-113. They were introduced in 1962.
On a sidenote, I read an article yesterday that the net mexican immigration into the USA is now at a virtual standstill, in fact it’s going down. (Something like 6.1 million illegals living in the US, down from 7 million, and 5.8 million legal mexican immigrants living in the US, up from 5.6 million).

Seeing as the Dems are now abandoning their promise on cutting the other parts of government, I don’t know why we should be cutting DOD funding. If the deal is off, the deal is off.
