LTC Dooley, a highly decorated combat veteran, was publically condemned by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and relieved of his teaching assignment (serving as an instructor at the Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) , a branch of the National Defense University) because of the negative way Islam was portrayed in an elective course entitled, Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism.
So effectively not only has a VALUABLE course been killed, an outstanding officer’s career has also been killed. For what?

Iran’s extremist militias and their proxies were behind a recent string of terror attacks against Israeli diplomatic targets around the globe and might seek to strike the United States, U.S. counterterrorism officials said Wednesday.
“We have seen an uptick in operational activity by the Quds Force over the last year or so,” National Counter-Terrorism Center Director Matthew G. Olsen told a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Mr. Olsen said the Quds Force, the elite division of the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responsible for operations abroad, “poses a threat beyond the immediate [Middle East] region,” including to the U.S. homeland.
He cited the federal prosecution last year of a senior member of the force for involvement in a failed plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. by bombing a Washington restaurant.

Italy’s highest appeals court has upheld guilty verdicts on 23 Americans, all but one of them CIA agents, accused of kidnapping a terror suspect.
Their case related to the abduction of an Egyptian cleric in Milan in 2003.
The man, known as Abu Omar, was allegedly flown to Egypt and tortured.
The Americans were tried in absentia, in the first trial involving extraordinary rendition, the CIA’s practice of transferring suspects to countries where torture is permitted.
And of course we have the Chinese ready to go to war with Japan, and Panetta over there trying to ‘calm’ the waters… Wonder what he’s giving away THIS time…
I’m at the point that I believe there IS going to be that 0300 phone call in the next weeks or months, and it won’t be answered…

We have several powderkegs brewing, one that already exploded and refilling…and we have that amateur in the white house. Elections have consequences…and we will pay in blood and treasure for the fools that elected “hope and change”

PLEASE HAVE YOUR READERS CONSIDER THIS: The US presently has NO CAPABILITY to interrogate or properly detain terror subjects. The ObamaNation has all but gutted that because if you interrogate them, you’re second guessed, turned into a leper and shunned. Consider the SEALs in the Sandbox who brought back a terror suspect and were put on trial for ‘roughing him up’ in the process. The message couldn’t be more clear.
The WAR ON TERROR was changed by Obama to a “foreign contingency operation”. It’s one of the first things he did when he assumed office.
That’s where America is today. And the coming election and legal removal of the cancer in the Oval Office couldn’t be more critical.

The FodGuy & I discuss “things” when he gets home from work ~ 2300; Couple of days ago, I told him, right around Halloween, “SOMETHING” will happen that will ‘allow’ Øbama to “postpone the election” indefinitely, and then declare martial law – whether another 9/11 is ‘allowed’ or cities start rampaging due to the economy, the old crystal ball doesn’t indicate. It WON’T happen too much earlier, because the water-carrying MSM has recently been taking Øbama to task, so if ‘whatever’ happens too early before the election, the MSM would {probably} hold his feet to the fire to have the election ………………

Interesting thought: Under Article 2, Congress sets the day for choosing electors,i.e. Election Day. IF we had had a Democratic-controlled legislature this year, I don’t doubt Pelosi and Reid could have gotten the date changed. With a Republican-controlled House, I don’t see it happening.
But if it should, I’ll be one of the people you read about in the paper. If any still exist.

I fear that you may be right. The Euro’s don’t have a pot to piss in, Russia is getting frisky, China is being belligerent with just about everyone, Iran has had all its brakes turned off, and the Mid-East is even more of a mess than it was this time last year.
