Support the NRA through CFC!!!

If you’re “voluntold” you have to donate to CFC, there is now another set of options…

Support the NRA!

You can show your support for your Second Amendment rights through your Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) contributions. The CFC provides federal employees – both military and civilian – the opportunity to make charitable contributions through their local CFC offices. Your gift can be a one-time contribution or a pledge for a specified amount per pay period. The choice is yours.
Currently, it is open enrollment season for CFC designations.  Make your charitable contribution today, to one or both of the following programs.
  • The NRA Foundation – CFC# 11872
    • The Foundation supports programs within the NRA, law enforcement, and other community-based agencies that foster firearms safety and education, constitutional education, and wildlife conservation management.
  • NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund – CFC# 10006
    • The Fund asserts and defends the human, civil, and constitutional rights of law-abiding Americans to keep and bear arms through precedent-setting litigation and education programs.

Worth thinking about… Just sayin…

Support the NRA through CFC!!! — 11 Comments

  1. It wasn’t the CFC but the United Way that we, when I was still working, was pressured for contributions. I never did. I once worked as a Data Auditor for a large accounting firm. One of the organizations we audited was the United Way. The UW is divided into state organizations. We found so much outright fraud—I’d call it embezzlement, that to this day I refuse to send them ANY money. If I have a group that I want to support, I’ll do that directly. Not through the United Way.

  2. There is another gun-rights outfit on the CFC folder (don’t remember the name since I did mine a month ago). That and SOF Warrior Fund have always been my CFC choices.
And yeah, I am WAY done with WWP, cannot believe that email traffic.

BTW tried to donate to Tam but PayPal is bein STUPID. I’ve been leery of them since I got spammed donating to Soldier’s Angels (another good charity, especially SA Germany) but … it was Tam, so I thought I’d try again. No joy.

  3. Boat Guy, I don’t do PayPal since they attempted to raid my account via my debit card.

NFO, is there another way we can contribute to Tam without PayPal?

  4. NC- Point!

Crucis- Yeah, heard the same… I always gave a dollar a month to the Boy Scouts. That way they couldn’t bitch at me.

    Ed- Yep… sigh

BG- Sorry to hear that. Email me will you?

    Crucis- Email me will you?

  5. Wounded Warriors has been kicked to the curb like an ex you want to forget.

There’s a number of good folks to donate through CFC and friends of mine who can donate to such things have been having bake offs and chili contests and all kinds of things to raise extra money specifically for veteran aid groups that are in CFC AND in the local community.

  6. Crucis – if you want to send a check to me, made out to her, I’ll hand deliver it next time I make a cookie or beer run to Broad Ripple. Old NFO can give you my addy, if you don’t have it already.

I got a check for $100 from one of the group today which I’ll drop off when I get back from this road trip.

  7. The Old Man (my last one, with the stars)wasn’t happy with me at CFC time. Anyone who didn’t fill out an allotment to them had to see him. No command pressure, and yes we really mean it this time.
I told him what I had witnessed in Bangladesh in ’78 by one of those groups, and some others, and said I give my money and time to my church, the Boy Scouts, and Salvation Army.
