From the mil-email net comes this one…

It’s pretty sad when a DOG is better and boogie boarding and skateboarding than I am… Sigh…

  1. I know. I felt as if I had been “bitch slapped” by a dog. 4 legs should give them an advantage though. (I console myself with these things)

  2. Low center of gravity. 😉

I wasn’t giving the dog’s skill much thought on the surfing portions, just ok that’s cute, then when it got to skateboard… man the dog has some skill! It’s figured out how to steer!

  3. My “skill set” was honed in the days of rollerskate wheels attached to the bottom of my “board” . . . . never was as talented at that mutt was!!

    Heavy sigh . . .

  4. I’m with the above — low CG and 4 points of contact make a big difference. Might consider the advantage of an articulated tail for balance adjustments, too. And I *WILL* send money for a picture of you taking the position to even the odds.

Ahem. Watching the clip I kept getting a “Your arrest records are online” message. I’d ask which of us to whom that referred, but I know I don’t have one. 🙂

  5. LL- LOL, agreed!

    Mikael- Yep, impressive!!!

    WSF- You’re welcome!

eia- Mine too… I was GOOD at falling on my ass…

    Bob- LOL, no idea… 😀

  6. Technically, that might almost count as being able to use a tool (depends on how he learned)…which would throw quite a number of anthropologists that I know into a right tizzy.
