Free Cheese…

In a nutshell…

Class war/wealth distribution at its best.

The folks who are getting the free stuff don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

And the folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop.

And the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more Free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now… The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So… The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the Free stuff.

Now understand this.

All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded.

The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 236 1788. 225 (Thanks Angus) years.years ago.

The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff (Remember the 47% Romney talked about? People are now saying it’s 51%).

Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

So it’s literally do or die for America… 2014 is our LAST chance to reverse the trends…

  1. “2014 is our LAST chance to reverse the trends” – I hope it’s not literally true, but it may well be.

At this point though, my faith in God is stronger than my belief in the electoral system.

  2. 1788. 225 years.

    1776 was Declaration of Independence.

1781 was the Articles of Confederation.

  3. And one of the reasons I got tired of the lack of control of the distribution of free stuff was that I had neighbors whose free stuff I was paying for, thus allowing them to buy big screen TVs and leather sofas with their money.

  4. Rev- Sad but true…

    McT- Thanks, fixed…

    PH- Oh yeah…

WSF- Feel like I’m just pissing in the wind, but what the hell… 🙂

    Tim- Fraid so…

  5. 2014???? Voting is what got us here. Just what ever gave you the idea it would get us out of where we are now ?

  6. What a well crafted post, appropiate for our time, concise, and to the point.
May we be comforted and encouraged by the sure knowledge that He who mastered
the raging tempest and storm tossed waves on the Sea of Gallilee so many centuries ago,
may do likewise in our time for those who find themselves in similar peril while embarked
in defense of our divenely endowed rights and privileges.
    Peace, my dearly beloved friends.

  7. Rick- Yep

    FD- Hoping against hope???

    xS3- We can only hope…

    Mark- Yep…

BZ- Problem is, will people wake up to that?

  8. I can see nothing but good logic in your post.

I’m one Aussie who is under no illusions that if your country goes under, so do we. ( You recently visited Julie here in Perth West Aust I believe – would love to have to have met up with you if I’d known 🙂 ). Anyway, as I was saying, the well being of your country is more closely connected with the wellbeing of our own than many Aussies like to admit – which is why I personally have always valued the friendship of yanks.

  9. As a professional historian, I’d love to argue that point; but the 250 plus/minus year cycle in between serious upheaval (i.e. dynastic change/revolution/conquest) regardless of the form of government is a remarkably consistent one. It can be shorter, but it is rarely longer. The form and type of upheaval is varied, but it happens nonetheless.

  10. Concise, accurate, irrefutable.
The Usual Suspects will, of course, label you a racist hater.
They do that when confronted with logic and facts.
I think it’s time to check the zero on my main and backup weapons.
And put an edge on my bayonets and knives.

  11. The point of no return will be passed when Congress disregards the will of the majority of Americans and grants US citizenship to millions of illegal aliens, allowing them to add their voices to the chorus demanding more free stuff at the expense of the rest of us. The playing field will be tipped so far with the inclusion of that new, massive voting bloc that we’ll likely never get back on top again. And everyone sees it coming but no one on Washington is willing to try and stop it.

Stock up on survival supplies while you can, and lots of ammo.

  12. There are plenty of people in that 47-51% who are working and paying taxes. This whole “land of moochers” way of thinking is the reason Romney lost last year. Unless you just happen to like telling the blue collar white working class to go Fxxx themselves. If so, keep importing hordes of 3rd world savages to drive down wages and keep sending jobs overseas.

  13. Acair- Thanks… sigh

    Stretch- Not a bad idea…

    Murph- Point!

Chris- You also have a good point…

  14. Yep. Can’t disagree that it could be bad, very bad. Unfortunately, there is only one party rule in DC, it’s gubmint. Doesn’t matter if it’s a Rino or a dhimmi, they both loves the gubmint and their power.
