Teetering on the tipping point???

The shooting of at least six more LEOs in Baton Rouge yesterday (three dead) has pushed us yet closer to a tipping point I don’t think the left really understands IS inevitable if they continue pushing the multiculturalism (where everyone is supposedly equal), as they support BLM, and continue pushing Muslims are peaceful people mantra, while pushing gun control and disarming legal gun owners.

IMHO, anybody with two brain cells to rub together can see through these ’emotional’ pleas and understand this is all about pushing an agenda where the government gets more and more control through freebies, entitlements, and other handouts that will ensure people will willingly give up freedoms and vote democrat until they die, while conservatives are left to wither and die on the vine as they support the 47% of moochers.

If one actually does the minimal research into the crime stats in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Philly, Atlanta, Memphis, LA, San Francisco and other democrat run cities, the crime stats have spiked over the last couple of years. As LEOs, frustrated with the push from BO’s administration, the local dems, et al, to stop prosecuting drug offences, stop ‘profiling’ blacks, even when they were caught in the act, etc. Many agencies have backed off on enforcement and patrols (or doubled up cars, reducing the number of cars on the street by 50% per shift) and the perps know it.

The Treyvon Martin lawsuit failed, the whole Ferguson mess (hands up, don’t shoot) was disproved, the Freddie Gray thing in Baltimore has led to no convictions and three acquittals, and the current ‘crop’ of cop shootings are falling apart under investigations. The DOJ has been politicized, are now one of the more divisive agencies out there, as they too push the administration’s agenda, including the ‘selective’ prosecutions where criminals caught with guns were, in some cases, back on the streets in 72 hours.

The real problem is it takes time for the truth to actually get put out there, in the meantime, the lies, slanders, race baiters (Jackson/Sharpton/et al) are out there stirring it up as hard as they can. And as usual, BO is blaming the cops, pushing gun control, basically ANYTHING other than actually addressing the problems.

As an aside, how many of the black on black shootings in Chiraq have made the main stream media??? 2200 to date shot, and 362 killed JUST IN CHICAGO!

Oh yeah, and the ‘mantra’ that blacks were unfairly targeted- Check the research HERE. Note where that research came from…

Bottom line, this week could (and I hope to hell it doesn’t), spark multiple riots in Cleveland if somebody snipes the police, or does something else stupid. LEOs are a hair’s breadth from being cut loose (my opinion), and John Q Public is getting tired of the road blocks, face offs, and stepped up violence as the usual suspects take advantage of the LEOs backing off/changing patrol profiles.

If it comes down to it, I believe John and Jane Q Public WILL take up arms, to defend themselves and their families, and what the left doesn’t understand is the number of veterans that will drag those ARs out of the closet and WILLINGLY use them. Make no mistake, the veterans can and will use the weapons and won’t hesitate to pull the trigger. They have done it before, and will do it again.

I can also see them backing up LEOs, and stepping into the line with them if required. At that point, words and hand wringing on the left will be too little, too late.

Edit- It appears the Baton Rouge shooter was actually a black from Missouri, tied to an anti-cop, anti-government group… So the administration will blame the gun, as usual…

Sigh…

Time to go back to the .45 as the carry piece of choice, and spare mags…

  1. People elected “a great uniter” and all I got was this lousy distopian country…..

    • 72 virgins now are from the 2nd and 3rd grades because of all these muslims believing their allah will provide.

      • That’s also child molestation, but that’s alright according to Islam… pathetic…

  2. I think that it makes sense to take more active measures to protect yourself and your family. Especially if you leave the peaceful enclave where you presently live and travel to Dallas or Houston.

  3. Rick- Sad but true… dammit…

    Anon- Good!

Roger- I saw that this morning, and I agree!

LL- I am, and so are most of the folks I know…

  4. So, the great Divider-in-Chief has created an ugly situation. He’s pushed and helped develop a national-level police force, with the arming so many government agencies with ex-military or military-grade weapons. He’s pushed for and built a “Civilian National Security Force” (google it). Through his actions, he’s now made it unpleasant and unsafe for our state, county, and local police to do their work. As you mention, he’s politicized our DoJ and Homeland Security. With his encouragement for the selective enforcement of laws, allowed the NBP and others to go free without punishment while punishing non-radical groups. He’s allowed and encouraged the growth of groups who do not like “the American Way”, groups that refuse to abide by standards of Western Civilization. He has helped fund and support radical groups long before he started working for our Government as an elected official and is supported by the same groups.
I can see several unpleasant things happening in succession: More of these radicals attacking police and creating havoc/mayhem. Non-Federal police giving up en-masse and walking off the job. Federal-level organizations encouraged/forced/enabled to take over for the reduced or disabled local-level forces. Emergency powers put into place, allowing use of the National Guard. And the regular civilians dragging weapons from their closets and safes. And then it gets worse.
Will this happen before he leaves office (Never let a good crisis go to waste), or leave the mess for his follow-on, who he hopes will be Hillary (gag).

  5. NFO, I don’t want to admit it, but you’re right. John and Jane Public will not stand for this much longer. And I’ve been saying it for years, the government wants everyone dependent on them. That way they have ALL the power. It’s really sad slavery is still thriving in our country. I don’t know if a Trump presidency will turn the tide enough, but I sure hope something good happens!

  6. Cleveland is likely to be…festive this week. Between Loomis (the head of Cleveland’s largest police union) asking our governor to ban open carry in all of Cuyahoga county during the RNC, all of the permitted/planned demonstrations (and those that aren’t), and all of the Trump fans (including Bikers for Trump, who state that they plan to “patrol” Cleveland…up to 10,000 of them), it’s time to keep my head down.

I’m really not looking forward to the stories coming out of there this week. I’m afraid that there will likely be some bad things happen.

  7. WN- I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that, but it’s definitely possible…

    Pamela- Exactly…

    pedi- Don’t disagree…

    Rev- Yep.

  8. Yup. I’m staying away from any largish gathering and keeping my head on a swivel. I don’t intend to go anywhere that might attract trouble, but trouble does tend to pop up where it wants to.

  9. I think we are witnessing the destruction of our country, peace, tranquility, and loss of common sense. IMHO

  10. Tim- Agreed.

TXRed- Smart. And you’re right. Interesting conversation at the VA after lunch about it, a number of folks were keeping a close eye on their trucks. Just sayin’

Fargo- Yep, push enough buttons to piss off John Q, and they WILL reestablish peace and tranquility… One way or the other.

  11. “Police don’t actually protect law-abiding citizens from criminals so much as they protect criminals from the much-rougher justice they’d get in the absence of a legal system.

Burglars would be hung from lampposts, and shoplifters would be beaten and tossed into the gutter if there were no police, as in fact happens in countries where there isn’t a reliable justice system and a civil-society culture that restrains vigilantism. Reminder to the criminal class: Ultimately, we’re not stuck in this country with you. You’re stuck in this country with us.” Glenn Reynolds.

  12. Not being the sharpest blade in the drawer, I will damn well go where I want to go as a free man in a free country. May get me killed but I will die on my feet before I live on my knees. Pull back to your redoubt if you want but know you are ceding your liberty to the bastards IMO.

Are we at a tipping point? Part of me hopes we are. Past time to sort out some of the s*&theads.

  13. In my daily travels, and I hold tight to the old fashion rules of never discussing politics, sex or religion with my patients, the vast majority of every-day folks are not happy with this action against cops. Black folks, white folks, brown and red folks. And many, many folks believe that we are on a very thin edge.

I can think of only 2 accomplishments from Obama. First, is he has got to be the most effective gun salesman ever (which I hope really, really galls him no end), and he has certainly kept his promise of changing America. Personally, I’m not a fan of the change, but it certainly can not be denied. Changing back, or forward to something more in line with our traditional values will not be fun, but I hope we wont be sucked into a second civil war.

My memory of folks rattling the big dog’s cage is that they get blasted back into the stone age. While the government is now the one doing the rattling, if they think that everyday schmoes wont react, they are really living in a fantasy world. Americans have a long fuse, but it goes off with a big bang when our patience is exhausted.

    Suz

  14. Rick- Good point. 🙂

    WSF- Can’t disagree at all!

Suz- Oh yeah, and I’m ‘hoping’ that bang doesn’t happen… But changes DO need to happen, either voluntarily or not.

  15. A number of people, thankfully not large, seems to actually want a race war. They’re playing us vs. them & upping the ante. Please, Lord, not in my time.
I wouldn’t have wanted it at any time, but 30 years ago I had much less conscience, was trained & aggressive, & (forgive me) might have even welcomed the fight. I was then full of if-we’re gonna-do-it-let’s-get-to it, vinegar, & some other liquid, I forget now what it was…
I’m a Southerner. We have kind of a history with racial conflict. I grew up hearing stories of some horrible treatment of blacks who were too “uppity”, but they were OLD stories, & things had changed. I grew up in the first generation around here to really be getting beyond that, or so I thought, & relations were better than they’ve maybe ever been. Then a divisive President took office, & I’ve never seen things this bad.
I pray we can come together again. Racial conflict would soil all caught up in it. I really suspect that the black radicals don’t really understand the stakes. As Tam says, “Don’t piss off the white people.”
We don’t, as a rule, go out & riot or take violent action, but once aroused to action, there are just too many.
