10 more days…

The left appears to be continuing the meltdown, now 30 days and counting… They cannot rationalize HOW they could possibly lose, much less that they DID lose…

To whit- Meryl Streep’s rant at the Golden Globes, HERE. Seems like this isn’t the first time she’s gone off the deep end without cause, or research, HERE.

As Jenn said, “Dance monkey, dance. If I want to hear you, I’ll load a movie.”

It appears BO is continuing to do everything he can to torpedo Trump before he leaves office… The Utah deal, the ‘sanctions’ against Russia for their so called ‘hacking’, etc…

Apparently he doesn’t remember his own statement…

In January 2009, Barack Obama, soon to become president, boasted, “Elections have consequences – and at the end of the day, I won.” After Hillary Clinton was defeated, the President met with President-Elect Donald Trump. Obama resisted commenting to reporters on Trump’s cabinet appointments, saying, “I think it is important for us to let him make his decisions. The American people will judge over the course of the next couple of years whether they like what they see.”

The weekend before President Obama’s planned farewell address was a good one by Chicago’s violent standards — only one person was killed by gunfire and eight others were wounded.

USS MAHAN had to fire warning shots in the Straits of Hormuz day before yesterday, HERE. Since there is no carrier in the Gulf, no air support… Iran is poking us once again, trying to get a reaction… And our folks are on a VERY restrictive ROE, thanks to this administration…

Is it Jan 20th yet?

10 more days… — 21 Comments

  1. And more ‘Good News’ – just read a report that Obama is selling a few tons of uranium via Russia (I thought Russians were bad actors?) to the Iranians, who as you pointed out are playing games with U.S. Navy.

Can we just fast track this moving out of our current president?

  2. I’m tired of Barack. I’m tired of seeing him on the news. I’m tired of the BS that he continually pulls. I’m tired of he and his shrewish wife racking up millions of expenses vacationing and us having to pay for it. I’m tired of progs in general.

And I’m looking forward to January 20 very much. Ten days!!

  3. I have to admit that those ten days pass quickly. Very quickly. More than one African president has managed to annul an election which booted him out of office, using force, in less time than that, and assumed dictatorial powers. Even dear Adolf of lamented memory didn’t do that. But some Big Men have… history is a good teacher, but can be really scary.

    • should be “I have to admit that I hope that…”

      Where’s that cup of coffee?

  4. Waiting while holding my breath. A lot of damage can be done in 10 days. But I have to admit, I am excited about seeing him, Biden, and hopefully, all the Department heads leave. I just wish some were leaving in handcuffs.

  5. On a positive note, I’m thinking the call of Bill Ayers, Carl Dix and others for the widespread month of protest leading up to the inauguration has largely run out of steam. Apparently, most people are too busy with their lives to engage in month-long protests. In this case, I’m calling that a good thing.

  6. The mess in the Gulf is waiting to explode. Hopefully with a new CINC it will deescalate quickly.

  7. I concur with all the above. Dear Reader could still wreak horrid mischief before leaving, if he chooses.

  8. I wish I could just sleep through the next ten days. We might as well find out about the final treacheries all at once.

But plenty to worry about: A bunch more Gitmo detainees will be released. Or, technically, probably transferred to Saudi rehab centers or some other countries where they won’t get passports. Most won’t be free to jihad until after Trump is President.

  9. Hey Old NFO;

I am tired of seeing all the hypocrisy from the hollywood elitist talking their crap. Like I care what they think…they all live in a self imposed echo chamber that perpetuates a mindset of sameness. I am ready for Obama to leave, he is continuing to push things all the way to end. I remember Bush slacking off because he didn’t want to tie the hands of his successor….funny how Obama isn’t doing the same thing. I also know that Obama will not go away Presidents don’t criticize their successors, but Obama will because that is what he will do to stay viable in the leftist world.

  10. Rev- I don’t think he’s done yet… dammit…

    Randy- Good point!

Bob- Sadly, I think you’re right… He can’t let go, even if elections DO have consequences…

  11. I remember back in 2002 while as staff on board JFK, we had to develop FIAC plans for a Hormuz transit for the strike group. I pulled a rabbit out of my hat one night during a planning cell meeting and said, just go flank speed and run them over. That’s an easy way to get that harassing Boston Whaler Navy out of the way for good. Of course I got some dirty looks from my OPS. Hey, it would save us on ammo, LMAO. I would love to see Iran get one of their frigates out to sea only to get ripple-fired with SM2 missiles from MAHAN, hell throw a harpoon in there for good measure. Maybe Meryl Streep could be on the Iranian frigate doing a USO type show when that happens. She is washed up. I also am counting the days down.

  12. Tick, tock, tock, tock, tick, tock is all I have been hearting run through my head lately as the countdown continues to ridding America of this charlatan.

  13. One piece of good news when counting: Remember that Trump gets sworn in at noon on the 20th. I knew that, of course, but it wasn’t part of my own counting.

This considerably makes up for the unwelcome shock at finding that Obama’s last year had been extended by a leap-second.

  14. WSF- Agreed!

Senior- Yep, a valid way to ‘handle’ the situation… 🙂 But the Straits are still a PITA, ship or airplane…

    Glenn- That too!

Randy- Didn’t know that, or forgot it… 🙂
