Looking at videos I’ve seen of the various protests, I’m struck by how many of the ‘protesters’, read rioters are hell bent on keeping their identities concealed, even to the point of NOT defending others who are being arrested/pushed back, etc. by the police. Of interest is that all of them seem to have backpacks, makes one wonder if they have a change of clothes, another jacket/shirt in there, or???
The only ones you see actually going to ‘aid’ another protester are by and large not hiding their identities, nor are they dressed ‘distinctively’, more like whatever they put on when they got up and got on the busses. I figure these are the ‘day protesters’ probably paid a pittance and a box lunch to protest.
Somebody has to see these folks coming in, or gearing up, before they mask up. Lots of folks out there with smartphones, pocket cameras, and regular cameras. It would be interesting to see if people could get pictures of these rioters (SAFELY get pictures), and possibly post them maybe the book of face or other media labeled as Rogue’s Gallery. I’m pretty sure the various LEOs, insurance companies, etc. would be interested too. Especially if these protesters could be tied to multiple events.
Speaking of that, it appears there may be an interesting video coming out next week… Not from me, but from somebody that got a ‘mole’ into one of the protests…
One of my readers, Randolph, also had this comment to an earlier post. This is really the crux of following the money… Bold are my additions-
Busing in protestors requires buses, and someone owns those buses. Identify the firms (Find out who paid for the busses) and publish the info to provide the opportunity for everyone else to not use those firms.
Someone is making, and selling the box lunches (Find out who ordered and paid for the lunches) . Ditto as with the buses.
Hotel rooms for the professional agitators (Find out who made the reservations and paid for the rooms) . Ditto.
Where infrastructure exists – and it undoubtedly exists for these efforts – it is attackable within normal financial transactions, not to mention permits, etc. Might the establishment selling the box lunches benefit from several health inspector visits? We certainly wouldn’t want First Amendment activity impacted by contaminated food, would we? All the licenses and permits current on those buses and their drivers? The list goes on. (Letters to the owners of the hotel franchises, especially if they hold DoD contracts)
The other thing I find interesting is that none of the protests are taking place in gun friendly locations. Maybe they are actually smart enough to know it wouldn’t end well for them in different locales…
Peter has two interesting posts up, THIS one, and the one following it, supposedly an answer from someone at the Emerald City Antifa… It’s enough to make one wonder if somebody is doing some serious trolling to see if they can get the Antifa and BLM fighting among themselves. 🙂

I know, it seems silly, but I’ll just toss this out. Why don’t the police, you know, since they are actually there, on scene, accost, detain, arrest those faux protesters? I mean, ostensibly they have the authority and the means to do so. Just grab the ruffian by the nape, ear, whatever and zip tie them one to another. Am I expecting too much?
It is going to depend on the local politics. Berkeley PD and UC PD probably got orders like Baltimore PD: Do nothing, let the protesters do their thing. They got what? One person arrested?
If we were to restrict freedom of movement because of a person wearing a mask (which is the law in many places), how could we then not prosecute burqua wearers?
I guess we’d have to.

We’ve been hearing for years that the terrorists would use our own laws against us, to foment an eventual overthrow. Yes, it’s illegal to arrest someone before they’ve joined a riot in progress. But perhaps “protective custody”, before they wander into a dangerous situation?

The problem with these ‘protests’ and riots is that the police are not enforcing the already numerous laws that regulate ‘non-peaceful assembly.’
Just like gun crimes. If the powers-that-be actually used a quarter of the gun laws against gun-using criminals, then ‘gun violence’ would disappear, as the source of the violence would be locked away.
So to with the protesters. Powers-that-be need to swoop in (heh, the soylent trucks would be usefull) and actually bust heads and toss people in the clink. If that happens, then the numbers and extent of the protests would diminish rapidly.
Until then, we will just see continued troubles.
And I don’t want it to get so bad that the public has to form Committees of Vigilance to take care of the issue.

UC Berkeley is Gun Free Zone but the selection of the locale was by Milo and the Campus Republicans. I did post in Milo’s FB page and told him to make the gatherings at open gun ranges…

While funding might come through Soros it originates at the CIA. He might pay for them to show up and pay for the guys who train them, but even Soros cant get security agencies to stand down. The people who are training and organizing the militant/violent protesters fit a certain profile, and dont do it for free (or if it means stepping outside the bounds of whats permissible). These guys are currently getting the go ahead and cover from some remnants of Obamas State Dep. Read the descriptions of them over where the Oathkeepers describe their operation Hypos.

The methods behind these “protesters” are well known and the organizers are probably known at some level of government. What puzzles me are the long game objectives.
How about shooting them with fluorescent paintballs maybe with a little touch of radioactive stuff, not much, just enough to set off alarms when they pass by. Or maybe some of those RFID things with some gooey glue stuff or even attaching it by contact during a melee mixup and then a buzzer will go off when they exit and area through checkpoints. I would also use tranquilizer guns if the black clad critters are actually causing bodily harm or committing arson.
To me the key to breaking up a mob is to make the consequences personal for the participants and don’t even try them as a group and give them a group identity. Those who lead and plan this stuff are counting on inciting the aggrieved thrill seekers and it seems as if they are trained well enough with situational awareness to disengage right before they are caught and let the emotions of the mob carry out the mayhem and I am afraid it won’t be long before some lives are lost, kind of like third world countries when they go berserk in the streets, then they will blame our current administration for the whole damn thing.
I think that is their long game, destruction and placing the blame on the right.
