Wow!!!

Apparently somebody nominated my little blog for the 2017 Paul Revere award.

The number of small conservative blogs nominated since the inaugural award presentation in 2013 has tripled.  We here at Political Clown Parade are indebted to everyone who took the time to submit the names of blogs who are the modern-day offspring of the American Revolution’s pamphleteers—the brave and resolute men and women who feed our soul, who make us laugh about ourselves or life and restore our buoyancy in a troubled world.

The Paul Revere Award is dedicated to those bloggers who hold down jobs and raise their families while standing guard over liberty.  The icon for the award is American patriot Paul Revere who’s legendary “Midnight Ride” to warn the colonists of Massachusetts before the historic battles of Lexington and Concord played a vital role in America’s struggle to gain independence from Britain.

You can vote HERE at Political Clown Parade. Voting closes on the 17th.

I have to say I am humbled to be even considered for such an award, and there is some pretty damn stiff competition, including some friends of mine. If you’re so inclined go over there and vote for your favorite blog. I’m not going to ask you to vote for me, per se, just vote for your favorite off the list.

Thanks to those that have already voted for me!!! 😀

  1. That is so awesome and well deserved!!! You are the bomb diggety!

  2. I voted for you. I don’t know how many times I can vote. Is this a Chicago style thing where I am allowed to vote “often”? If so, I shall continue to cast my vote for you.

  3. Hey Old NFO;

Congratulations on getting the nomination….Very well deserved, I have already voted….I will head over later and see if I can “Pad the ballot box” like the democrats do. Like I said, your fans recognize quality 🙂

  4. Rev/LL/Bob- Thanks! I just looked and I’m sucking hind tit, but I DO appreciate the nomination! 😀

  5. Congrats!

That’s a good crowd to be in. Had another administration taken over in January, I’d probably be in trouble for the fact that I’ve already read many of them.

    You’ve got my vote.

  6. Not that I would ever encourage anyone to do the Chicago thing, and “vote early, vote often” but apropos of absolutely nothing, if one should, for example, clear one’s browser history, and then return to the poll, one could, conceivably enter a second vote. Or so I’ve been told. Of course, this could just all be hearsay, with no basis in reality.

  7. I voted for you several times. Now I feel like a democrat.
I hope you will not blame the Russians, Wikileaks, Comey, George Bush, Rush Limbaugh, The DNC, The NY Times (slimes?)
and barack obammy if you unfortunately fail to win.

  8. I’m not sure I’d feel all that honored.
    My blog was listed.
    But I voted for yours.
And mine and a couple others.

  9. I voted for you and a bunch of other people, and went and checked out a couple people that I hadn’t read before.
