Protesting a ‘bit’ too much???

Isikoff claims to be ‘surprised’ his article was used to circular reference the Steele documents and Carter Page… Really?

Investigative journalist Michael Isikoff said Friday that he was surprised to find out that an article he wrote about Carter Page prior to the election was used to obtain a spy warrant against the former Trump campaign adviser.

Full article, HERE.

So, now two days after the memo’s release, the Dems can’t get their stories straight. I’ve seen five or six different democrats/talking heads, and NONE of their stories are consistent…

None of them can explain the timeline, nor can they say ‘what’ national security aspects have been compromised, while others are saying this is ‘nothing’. And no sources or methods are in the release, so Schiff lied about that too…

Article from CNN, HERE.

Of note, the judge that signed off on the warrant was Contreras, an Obama appointee. And brand new to the FISA court in 2016…

And from Politico, HERE.

I want to see the actual FISA warrant, AND all the supporting documentation, and to find out which judge(s) signed the follow-on warrants.

Frankly, to me, this is starting to stink like week old fish…

  1. Hey Old NFO;

Yep and they got caught, the trick will be that if anybody get punished or if nothing happens than we know for sure that there are 2 rset of laws, one for us regular smucks and one for the “Cloud People”.

  2. The stench of corruption floating around washington is truly disgusting. Every day that goes by, a new little fact, a new name is unearthed, all leading in the same direction. The old saying that the fish rots from its head, is certainly being proven. Thus far, no “little people” have been implicated. All of them are top level and beholden only to those at the VERY top.

  3. The timeline leads to unmasking by Susan Rice and others who had offices down the hall from Barack… I think that it will get more interesting. Rice needs to be put in front of a grand jury. I’d pay good money to be on that jury.

  4. From The Onion:
WASHINGTON—Stressing that such an action would be highly reckless, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned Thursday that releasing the “Nunes Memo” could potentially undermine faith in the massive, unaccountable government secret agencies of the United States. “Making this memo public will almost certainly impede our ability to conduct clandestine activities operating outside any legal or judicial system on an international scale,” said Wray, noting that it was essential that mutual trust exist between the American people and the vast, mysterious cabal given free rein to use any tactics necessary to conduct surveillance on U.S. citizens or subvert religious and political groups. “If we take away the people’s faith in this shadowy monolith exempt from any consequences, all that’s left is an extensive network of rogue, unelected intelligence officers carrying out extrajudicial missions for a variety of subjective, and occasionally personal, reasons.” At press time, Wray confirmed the massive, unaccountable government secret agencies were unaware of any wrongdoing for violating constitutional rights.

    • We live in a world where “The Onion” is a better source of real news than CNN, MSNBC, NBC, et. al.

  5. I was never clear on a couple of minor parts.

    1) what exactly were the Russians supposed to have done?
    2) in support of (or working against) which candidate?

Given the sweetheart deals Hillary was making with them, I would expect they would be supporting her, not DJT.

  6. My opinion is that if they throw Comey in jail for the laws he admitted breaking under oath, the cards will start tumbling. He appears to be a snake, snakes are always snakes, and the rest of the snakes will know they’re expendable. By the time the singing is over, D.C. will sound like a drunk prison choir.

  7. I think the Dems are just throwing everything except the kitchen sink at the wall to see what sticks as an excuse for getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar, especially since Donald is STILL president.

Who wants extra butter on their popcorn?

  8. I’ve been wondering, if the Democrats REALLY claim this is all nothing, will they be willing to clear the names of Haldeman, Erlichman, Mitchell, and Dean?

  9. Bob- Exactly!

    Roger/Ed- That it is!!!

LL- You and me both! I think there would be a bidding war to get on ‘that’ jury!

    Ed/NRW- Sad but true!

WSF- Oh yes, they don’t ‘like’ sunlight being shined to their BS tricks…

TRX- Excellent point! I’ve wondered about that too!

Jess- Yep, that prison time goes BOTH ways. Can you imagine Flynn and Comey in the same cell? I know who’d win THAT battle 🙂

Suz- Yep, they’re out of spaghetti, and none of it stuck!

Orvan- Of course not, they’re ebil Pubs…

  10. My wife and I sat near Isikoff at the NRA Leadership Conference in St. Louis some years ago. He was an arrogant SOB then. He didn’t pay attention to the speakers but was constantly on his phone trying to get permission to leave. Another reporter ended up writing his commentary after Isikoff ‘edited’ it. How do we know this? We sat across from him in the NRA Media Center. My wife still remembers him and his attitude.
