The infamous blog meet gun pic… Yes, this IS the original picture!
Favorite little Italian Restaurant in Motta, IT
Big airplane, little airplane… Little airplane has a wider wingspan than the P-3! 😀
And wow, there are a whole lotta stories behind those few pictures!
Thanks for posting those.
Worth more than 1000 words (each).
The fact that the guns aren’t organized with the muzzles pointed the same direction and that they aren’t grouped by type, caliber, or color is causing a disturbance in my OCD force!
Kidding. Them’s some nice shooting irons!
But where did the others put their guns?
What is the little plane?
Those bottlenecked cartridges caught my eye!
I bought a Tokarev-type Zastava M57 in January, which uses the little fireball bottleneck 7.62×25. I was hoping to see a Tokarev in that group, but I didn’t. So, I’m guessing someone had a .357 Sig.
I had fun looking up the different possibilities, though, so even if my Zastava wasn’t represented, it was a nice picture!
Interesting carry mix. I see a single action SAA, a charter arms .32 w 4″ barrel, a 8″ barreled revolver, and what looks like two standard capacity magazines for a MSR ( i think the owner of those is standing post since most have somewhat disarmed) …great pic!
The Italian restaurant has me looking for James gandolfini!
How about some stories behind those pic? Hint hint. I mean…there are many reasons people got to Kuwait and Bahrain…but…your reasons might be more interesting.
If a picture is word a thousand words these pictures are wot=rth a million words
I note Little Plane is labeled “experimental”. Must be due to that pod and antenna(?)/dome under the fuselage.
Hey Old NFO;
Very nice pics especially of the assorted pistols….and wow Kuwait city looks a lot different than when I saw it in 1991.
All- Thanks for the comments! RC- Somewhat disarmed… LOL There were plenty of folks who ONLY put one gun on the counter… There are stories, but not for the blog…LOL
Posted from my iPhone.
cool photos, I really like seeing ‘old’ photos
These are excellent pix. Thanks!
As for that plane, it might be one of these.
