NRA’s Annual Meetings & Exhibits 2014:
A Celebration of American Values
Indianapolis, Indiana Hosts Several Acres of Guns, Gear & Outfitters

Fairfax, Va. – The National Rifle Association (NRA) Annual Meetings and Exhibits will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 25-27, 2014.

Members of the news media who wish to cover this year’s event will need press credentials. For press credentials, please email your name, media affiliation, phone number, and email address to[email protected]. Credentials will be available for pick-up in the press office starting at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24. Television crews and still photographers should bring necessary equipment and lenses (sports lenses) to cover events from platforms at distances from 150-200 feet from the stage. (Please note: requests from U.S. media outlets will be given priority over foreign media requests. Consequently, foreign media should be prepared in the event they do not have access to the show floor.)

Approximately 70,000 attendees are expected at this year’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits. Leading firearm manufacturers will display the firearm industry’s latest products. Guides and outfitters, various hunting and shooting accessories, and an extensive private collection displayed by NRA-affiliated gun collector clubs will fill acres of convention space.

The National NRA Foundation Banquet will take place on Thursday, April 24, at the Lucas Oil Stadium. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. This event is closed to the press.

The NRA-ILA Leadership Forum will take place on Friday, April 25. This year’s speakers include Senator Daniel Coats of Indiana, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Governor Mike Pence of Indiana, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri.

NRACountry, a partnership between NRA and country music’s brightest stars, is pleased to present NRACountry Jam IV at the Crane Bay Event Center on Friday, April 25, featuring Joe Nichols and Jerrod Niemann. Doors will open at7:00 p.m. This is a ticketed event.

NRA’s Stand and Fight Rally will take place Saturday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. Guests will be treated to performances by legendary country super group Alabama and multi-time Female Vocalist of the Year award winner Sara Evans.

NRA’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits provide a safe and fun atmosphere the whole family can enjoy. The air gun range is a top attraction – both for participants and observers. NRA offers diverse seminars throughout the three-day convention, including methods of concealed carry; hunting; Firearms Law; the Grassroots Workshop; and Refuse to Be a Victim®.

Folks, they’ve been really good to us bloggers, but I’d recommend you get your request in early!  They usually have wireless in the press room, and give out some good press packets too!

  3. Where it says “email protected”regarding press credentials it may say protected but it’s still a link to the email that you are protecting.

    I may try to go this year, gotta check the calender, ducets and the spousal unit. WHen they ask for press affiliation and stuff, what do you use?
