Made it to Indy in one piece…
Stopped by the NRA AM to get my media creds, and couldn’t resist taking a pic of this one… 🙂
As always, if you have something you want me to check on, please leave a comment and I’ll do my best to track down the answer. Â We’ve got a BIG media room this time, and there were already folks in there working this afternoon…
And the drivers are getting stupider and stupider… Why is it the drivers in the POS cars are the worst for speeding/being stupid??? Â Hell, I wouldn’t even WANT to try to drive some of those things 80-90 mph!!! Â Like a beat up Isuzu Amigo, blown out exhaust, running 90+ and I think the weaving was because the steering was that loose… sigh…
And Ohio drivers… Geez… Pick a frikkin lane, OKAY??? And STAY in it for more that 30 seconds, OKAY???
Gah…
Needless to say, there were NO problems with inattention (at least on MY part)…
Kudos for getting there in one piece!
I think weapon turrets on cars would make commuting much more interesting.
Nice. Have a great time.
I still think of mounting paint ball guns in my grill.
Get a Ford Taurus with a mall ninja paint job. People will think you are a trooper and get out of your way.
Rev- it WAS a challenge… sigh
Stretch- That it would… or drive a Ferret!!!
Opus- Thanks, going to try!
Ed- LOL
WSF- Nah, I’d have to get one of the ‘new’ ones… 😀
Drivers in POS cars have nothing to loose.
Sorry we missed ya for dinner, and yeah, the trip was “challenging”. I’m sleeping in this morning. See ya later!
Hey Old NFO;
Wish I could have made it. I was planning on going but I have to had a medical procedure done, and that has higher priority:( Take lots of pictures!! and wave at the bussed in protesters;)
LL- Good point…
Keads- We’ll catch up with you at the media center.
Bob- Will do! Hope things go well.
I will ask a favor.
If the knuckleheads from BATF have a booth, ask them how long it is currently taking to process applications for a tax stamp for a suppressor. I am hearing a maybe waiting up to a year.
Have fun and say hello to everyone for us!
I actually saw the show on the History Channel(Counting Cars) where that car was made. It was fabricated by Count’s Customs in Las Vegas, NV. I just checked and the episode “Rocked and Loaded” will be replaying on May 4 at 7:00 ET if you’re interested.
Steve
Gerry- Will do.
Jenn- Will do also!
Steve- Thanks, I’m going to tape that one!
Same request as every year, drop by the HP Precision booth and check in about good ‘ol Deadeye Lon the Spokesbastard for me.
Stringray- Will do 😉
