We started the day with a Shooter Self-Care Class taught by Ambulance Driver, Murph, JB, TOTW and Lawdog, with the Shekel commenting on legal issues.

Charter STILL has not received their guns, and haven’t gotten any real answers either.

Quick stop and chat with Les Baer, he said he thinks this show will be at least as big as Indy for attendance. He spent a good bit of time chatting with customers, and lots of folks wanted pictures with him. I have one of his that I took a picture of that I’ll try to get up tomorrow too, mainly for the serial number. 🙂

The instructor training class was good, and they are working on a ‘new’ NRA Coach certification, and an AR certification, both of which received good comments from the 360 instructors in the room.

We also had a blogger dinner tonight, and as usual the conversations went EVERYWHERE…

One of the better ones was “If worst comes to worst, we’ll meet at the corner of Glock and Springfield.” That’s on the show floor… 🙂

We also got into a conversation about the ‘perception’ of the left that we’re all knuckle-dragging cretins. So we did a little ‘informal’ survey…

Out of 19 people at dinner, there were 17 with Bachelor’s, 5 with Master’s (including 2 lawyers and 1 doctor), 1 PHD, 2 nationally certified paramedic instructors, 1 gunsmith, 4 published authors, 1 magazine editor, and 2 members of Mensa…

That is a helluva group of knuckle-draggers…

And we truly appreciate the access the NRA staff have once again given us bloggers.
