DHS is at it again, and other stupidity…

Big Brother in the form of the Department of Homeland Security has a list of hot words where upon when they monitor emails will select yours for scrutiny.  But it took the Brits to gain the list.  Go HERE for the Daily Mail list… sigh

And how’s that texting working out for ya now???

And speaking of DHS/TSA…

May or may NOT be a joke… Sigh…

And then there’s THIS from PMSNBC.  Hayes video from his MSNBC show yesterday morning of the too-refined-by-half Hayes explaining why he is “uncomfortable” in calling America’s fallen military members “heroes.”

And I’ll leave you with a positive one…
This is what Military pilots see on final into Offutt AFB

A farmer does this with his tractor. He uses GPS to get the letters readable.

Hat tip to the Bellevue farmer who made it happen!

  1. Oh, I saw that at Sipsey Street, and made sure to leave a comment there mentioning exploding-wire detonators, matched capacitors, baratol, RDX, early-burn plutonium, etc.

Say, I tried to leave some comments at the Atomic Nerds site, but they didn’t display. Have you had this problem, or is Stingray just channelling Zydeco and being an A-hole at me?

  2. Julie- Yep!

WSF- Nope, but tail lights available CHEAP, hardly used at all…

Just- Every once in a while that happens to me too.

  3. You’ll be glad to know it’s also visible on Google Maps. Though it appears he does change the wording from time to time, but it’s still the same message.

    Serious props to the farmer.

  4. Can watch the PMSNBC video for fear I may throw my laptop across the room. I’m pissed just thinking about it.

    But kudos to that farmer!

  5. Great, I can’t mention supper without flagging myself? Lovely.

Brought both kids to the computer for a Text Lesson. Hopefully, the boy learned his when he wiped out my Mama’s mailbox doing such.
