Apparent today the MDNG have finally been issued live ammo!
Just heard a news report that they have actually been allowed to load mags with live rounds and they are in full battle rattle today.
And apparently a ‘known’ rabble rouser is coming in to hold a rally. This should be interesting…
And the first shot fired should be at the know rebel rouser.

Who would the expected rabble-rouser be? Al the Tax Cheat? Mike Brown’s mother? Jesse Jackass? Elijah Cummings? Mullah Obama? Sheila Jackass Lee? Shyster General Lynch? All of the above?

But when the riots really begin after a dozen or so are shot by the “National Gestapo” (MSNBC’s term, not mine) and they are in your neighborhood, it won’t be so funny and it won’t be such a good show.
Another stupid act does not negate a prior stupid act but magnifies it.

National Guard with live ammo…interesting. Do they also have bayonets? The last real bayonet went on the front of an M-14 and was a real pig sticker. I think that they need to bring back the M-14 for riot situations because you can shoot two or three deep with one bullet. It saves taxpayer money.
An M-14 with a bayonet in the hands of someone trained is a fearsome weapon. We walked guard at an ammo dump in the dark back of beyond in Germany with no ammo. As soon as the guard truck was out of sight, the bayonets went on. When I did basic, bayonet training was a large component of our training.

I seriously doubt the NG were issued live rounds. Aside from the logistics, No politician would risk they might actually use it. Previous civil deployments of the NG have all been with empty guns, including the nation-wide airport secrutity roll-out after 9-11.
