I had the privilege of sitting next to Newbius at my first gun-blogger gathering in Charlotte two years ago. He provided me a great introduction to the gun-blogging community and helped this n00b feel welcome.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I had no idea if he was older, or in poor health, we chatted a couple times on the phone as he and his wife were coming through Indiana, hoping to meet up with them for coffee but it never worked out. My condolences to her, and the rest of his family and friends.
