My daughter’s dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.

I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy S#!t, my daughter is raising a Democrat dog!!!

In other news- 2010 is NOT the start of the new decade… the new decade starts in 2011! What is it with people who just don’t understand this stuff? AND they get on their high horses when it’s pointed out to them??? Geez, you’d have thought I called them idjits (well, under my breath maybe)…

Their ‘excuse’ was oh the new millennium started in 2000! NO IT DIDN’T it actually started in 2001!!! 2000 was the END of the previous millennium…

Oh yeah, and this whole globull warming… well it’s noon here, it’s 26 degrees, the wind is blowing 30 kts and the wind chill is 11 degrees; warm it ain’t!

And this from a friend coming back from Hawaii-

I have an interesting observation to relate. When we came back from Hilo the other day there were three muslims speaking Pasthu/Urdu going through “security” in the line in front of us. The were talking loudly to each other, and didn’t remove their shoes, but walked right through the metal detector without the TSA reacting or saying a thing.

When I went through, one of the TSA minions grabbed my shoes from the conveyor belt and said, “We’ll have to check these”, then put them on one of them multi-million dollar “scanner” toys. I asked the punk why he “didn’t check them”, pointing at the muslims sauntering away talking much more quietly; The punk glared at me and responded with, “This is policy.”

Soooo, I guess the policy must be, “After you wave a few muslims through you gotta harass an old white guy just to ensure he isn’t going to blow up the airplane. Make sure you document the search so your “metrics” look good during the next investigation.”

The government of this once great nation is completely out of control… Everything is okay in the security world, and all’s right with Allah…

  1. I have one of those democrat dogs, too. But if my wife was threatened, the dog would instantly turn VERY Republican. Possibly even redneck, Constitutional and Old Testament… all at the same time and all very quickly from what I’ve seen. So she (the dog) gets a pass.

Policy, eh? At some point we’ve got to get tired enough of these moslems and their ability to hit and hurt us at will. Tired enough to decide for ourselves which “policy” is gonna be and which “punks” would be better served by attending the local bartending school. Sigh … till that day …

Anger and disgust continue to build up within the people who actually make this country go. When things snap, it’s gonna hurt!

Congress needs restructuring NOW. Lawyer lobby greed has ruined our nation long enough.

  2. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I’ve two democrat cats. No, I take that back. Snowflake, the big black one hisses everytime she sees BO on TV.

I trained her right. Amber, on the other hand…

Policy, huh? One day the muslims will do something big and make the resulting response make the 12th and 13th Century Crusades seem like a school-yard brawl.

  3. Don’t put the daughter’s dog down like that. She might bite you the next time she sees you- daughter or dog.

As to “warming”- I’ve already given you my suggestion on how to stay warm. That ball is in your court. (Pun NOT intended)

WV- Sniginde. I like that one.

  4. Just before Christmas one of my friends asked me to accompany her to traffic court in Denver for moral support. We waited over two hours as the defendants needing interpreters were called first. Seven Spanish, two Korean, one Somalia and one some indigenous Mexican tongue. Doubt the defendants were paying for the interpreters. Minimal fines for the defendants. The English speakers got hit hard. My friend won her case. She was charged with violating a railroad crossing signal.

This PC crap makes me so angry. My friend, after she was found not guilty, told the judge how she felt about the way business is conducted in that court. Almost got a contempt charge.

  5. Good comparison on the dogs and democrats, but at least you don’t have to listen to their political beliefs, and you can legally put them down when they get old and senile(well in the dogs case you would still feel bad).I don’t know how you handle that airport scene, everything they do defies logic.

  6. RWL- Agreed on the dog 🙂 It BETTER turn Republican… Re the rest, yeah…

    Crucis- agreed

    Snigs- Both (probably)… and I ain’t goin there… 🙂

WSF- Sadly, that IS the age we are living in… PCism trumps all.

Diller- good point, re the airport, ONLY because I have to.

  7. The last time I flew out west commercially, there was a young Moslem guy sitting at the boarding gate. He was sweating like a pig, rocking back and forth, wearing a trench coat and mumbling constantly in arabic. I went to the air line person at the boarding gate and asked them if they had checked this guy out. They said the was checked through security by TSA and they could not do anything more than that. When we lined up to board the plane, some people from the air line pulled an elderly lady out of line and searched her and her little carry on bag. I asked the gate person what the hell was going on, and they said it was part of routine security procedures to check passengers again randomly before boarding. The whacked out guy got on no trouble. Nothing happened on the flight, but I couldn’t help thinking something was seriously awry with security.

  8. Dog story made me LOL @ work. =)

And airport security is a joke. IMO, Unfortunately its only a matter of time before they strike again. We seem to react after the fact instead of acting before.

  9. Dogs, ya gotta love em.

Only one thing to say about airport security: S.N.A.F.U.

On that note, have a good one NFO.

  10. I couldn’t bear to call my precious dogs Democrats. However, one is probably an illegal alien.

How many times have I had to take off my shoes and relinquish my backpack at an airport? As a senior person(though not really a g’mother) I just can’t see me looking like a terrorist. But let’s face it, airport security people aren’t that swift. Years ago I was traveling with a group in India. One member of our party carried a bag of cocaine in his underwear for three weeks. He finally made it back to the states with it. Three weeks. Think about it.
