Picked this one up from Daddy Bear, who got it from NJT and it’s pretty interesting…
White means I haven’t spent much time at all there, pink means I’ve gone there a time or two, orange means I’ve been there often enough to have a preferred restaurant, blue means I have enough time there to have people recognize me when I got to my favorite bar, and green means I’ve lived there or might as well have.
As you can tell, I DON’T do cold real well, and most of this travel is thanks to the military…
You can make your own here. Jump in if you’re of a mind to! 🙂
Mine looks only a little more colored than NJT’s.
That is an interesting exercise. Now I want to find one for world travel/living.
Andy- Yep, that whole lack of military experience 🙂
Harper- Yeah, THAT would be interesting too! 🙂
As Johnny Cash would say “I’ve been everywhere man”. Not a state I’ve not seen but some I don’t mind never returning to.
Brigid- Heard THAT! 🙂
Shouldn’t NH be pink? (I really don’t like the sound of that, though.)
DT- Well, you DO have a point, I’ll change it… LOL!
Hey now, if you can take Wyoming or Colorado, you can take North Dakota. And cold weather tends to keep the smaller mosquitoes down. Of course, the ones that survive make off with livestock and small children, so I guess it’s a wash. 😉
And yeah, I wish I could find something like this for the entire world.
We had a large decal map on our motorhome with stickers for all the states we had been in… but the didn’t make stickers for every state…
Like the state of denial, the state of insanity, the state of panic, the state of confusion…
Dann in Ohio
DB- Colorado and Wyoming ONLY in the summer 🙂
Dann- Good point! LOL
The Northwest is all white on my map too.
MSgt- Noticed that I did 🙂
