A “sampling” of our 4th of July feed… We didn’t do any fireworks, we just let the idjits around the neighborhood spend LARGE $$ on some pretty serious rounds…
Oh yeah, FOOD 🙂
Oh yeah, FOOD 🙂
Ribs, BBQ chicken, pulled Pork, and Hash.
And there was corn on the cob, rice, iced tea, and some GOOD BBQ sauces. As they say, I was in ‘hog’ heaven (and made a pig outta myself quite honestly)…
Lighter stuff… All out of the garden…
And dessert…
Fresh strawberries over home made pound cake, topped with real whipped cream. My ‘donation’ was the Kona coffee 🙂
YUM!! I can taste it from here.
MMMmmmmmmmmmm. . . . . . . .
Looks great!
Jealous! Spent the 4th on a 1100 mile road trip.
Flier/eia- It was! And I wish we could have fed y’all!
Keads- Damn, should have invited you down, we’re only about 70 miles away… My bad…
WSF- OUCH!!! Tired butt there!
I think I gained a couple pounds just looking at those pictures – and despite being a little too full from dinner, my mouth was still watering. Glad to hear you had a great 4th!
Looks phenomenal!! BTW, it’s warm here now–real warm. Waiting patiently for you to visit…
Picked up a couple ducks (frozen) at Q-town commissary, then with all the excitement leading up to the 4th, forgot to pull and thaw them…we had burgers…and beer…and whiskey…and more beer…and
We’ll do the ducks this weekend.
Ok, that sounded good when you described it on the phone, but man the pics make my mouth water!
We just grilled T-bones. One for me and one for her. That and some baked spuds.
Simple. Plain. Yum!
