First, one of my Diamondbacks, blued in .38 with a 4 inch barrel. It’s NOT a new gun, one of my shooters. It came back from Cylinder & Slide about 4 months ago, so it’s perfectly functional.
And Michael from The Holster Site, has generously agreed to make a custom holster (either in the waistband or on the waistband) in your choice of finish.
Hit the PayPal link at Tam’s site and enter “Diamondback” on the receipt, e-mail a copy of the receipt to oldnfo (at) gmail.com and you will be entered into a drawing for each $25 you send to Tam. We would like to raise at least $1500 so your chance will be one in 60 to win the pistol and holster.
I’m on travel right now, so I don’t have a picture handy, but I‘ll get a set of pics up on Sunday night.
You MUST be qualified to own this pistol, and it will be shipped from my FFL to the winner’s FFL.
And edited to add a second place prize of a hand cannon designed, built and donated by Joe Spear, Jackalope Rifle Co.
And one more edit, the Atomic Nerds just donated a $200 gift certificate to Brownells. So the second person will get their choice and the third person will get what is left.
I didn’t and don’t need a raffle to kick what I could to Tam , but if this don’t motivate them then by god nothing will .
One hopes FD, we ‘know’ how much stuff like what Tam needs costs… And it’s the least we can do…
It’s a win/win. I’m in.
Hows about if I just sens a check to her?
I’d prefer to not give the charges to PayPal.
(she will get the money anyway though).

Lots of awesome people in this group of bitter gun clingers.
Look at you and Michael!! Not surprised one bit.
I already donated, but I will most certainly spread the word.
Alan- Thanks.
MrB- That’s fine, just let me know by sending a copy of the check
Instinct- We try…
Agirl- We do what we can.
Chimed in with my hit on that button, and I’ll take a look in the safe to see what I can add to the raffle pool.
Tam’s my Blog Momma. It ain’t charity…. it’s just friends helping friends.
In your own words; “Well done Sir… Well DONE!”
With the stuff getting piled up here , i hope your not limiting this to 60 chances . Let anyone inn to have a go at it .
Did my bit, no prizes needed.
I have a personal grudge against this particular affliction.
I’m selling an AR lower, proceeds to go to Tam’s tip jar. You can bid by commenting on my blog post announcing it.
Since my blog gets like ten viewers a week I need more exposure.
Wow. Outstanding. The love is strong in our community.
This is a good thing folks are doing, and since there is only a random chance of getting something for it, I guess I don’t feel like a total dirtbag for accepting something if I get selected for a prize. A lot of people owe Tam, and I hope this makes things easier for her.
May I throw in a couple of books?
If so, please drop me an email – [email protected]
I have the same qualms about PayPal. Would someone please send an address for donating to me?

Thanks.
Oh, and the real name of the payee would be helpful, too.
Done, no raffle needed.
Same as Comrade Misfit. I’d like to kick in a few bucks, but I don’t have paypal. Need a snail mail address and name of payee.

FWIW, Tam is pretty much dumbstruck by the outpouring of generosity. Keeps sitting down at the computer, then getting up again and saying, “I’m not sure I can even process this.”
She is deeply moved.
Oh oh oh! I’m currently posting from phone but I will dive into this when I get home!
Thanks all, been on the road just got home. Mr. D, check your email.
