Bans…

You really want to ban something???  Where are the calls to ban these things???

Everyone of these ‘contributed’ to his actions…

Ban the computer maker, since they allowed him access to the internet

Ban the ISP, since that allowed him to play computer games, etc.

Ban every computer game he played, since they contributed to his state of mind

Ban every clothing maker that he wore,  including the underwear, since they allowed him to leave the house

Ban the shoe manufacturer since the shoes allowed him to leave the house

Ban the car maker, since they facilitated the shooter

Ban the mortgage company and the bank that gave the family the loans that allowed him a place to live and foment his actions

Ban every school that he attended since they didn’t teach him right from wrong

Ban every doctor that saw him, since they failed to treat him properly

I know I’m tilting at windmills here, but the crap in the media is just pissing me off… Dancing in the blood of the children who are the victims here is just plain WRONG…

Bans… — 16 Comments

  1. I haven’t seen anyone call for bans on Anheuser-Busch when a drunk driver plows into a school bus. Can you say, “hypocrites”?

  2. Taking guns is such an easy thing to do. Look at how well it’s done in the UK.

The gun haters see a golden opportunity with the fast and furious administration in power to get guns removed. The 0bama government fears a armed citizenry. I say ban parasite and leech voters who vote them selves other people’s wealth.

  3. The ATF and the FBI HRT team killed more children at Waco then this mutant did in CT and nobody in the media batted an eye.

The ATF F&F program led to more than 10 times the deaths as this mutant and nobody in the media batted an eye.

Sorry if I don’t buy into their angst over firearms. It seems rather selective.

  4. I agree with you Sir. I don’t even turn the “media” on right now. I would give real money if a Lohan or Kardashian did something stupid right now to break this vapid drivel.

  5. It’s not so much that the media is having a slugfest over the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting spree. It’s not even that the MSM are in the tank for the gun grabbers.

What really, really bothers me is the public thirst for more and more and more of the media’s excesses — to the point where they will dismiss all rationality.

The comments I heard yesterday while at my local Town Hall to tender my real estate tax payment made me feel like upchucking, and will not be reprised here. [N.B. About 30 years ago there had actually been an armed hostage-taking incident in that very building.].

Its not so much the public’s frenzied rush to give up their guns to the government as it is their refusal to do their own thinking for themselves — That is what the problem is.

  6. Rev- Good point!

    ADM- Yeah…

    Gerry- Another good point!

Keads- That’s pretty sad, but I’d even agree…

    PH- True

    Robert- Yeah

EO- That is another great point.. dammit…

  7. Frankly, you are approaching this from the wrong angle. You are thinking with honestly, logic, and intelligence.

They are FEELING without benefit of honesty, logic, or intelligence.

You are speaking the wrong language. That’s why you get pissed. They are using words you know, but to you they mean something. To them, they are just noises they make.

  8. With this remark, you display your lack of reality in how people are dealing with this disaster:

“Dancing in the blood of the children”

That is truly offensive. Who do you want to point a finger at as doing such an act of indecency other than your own self. You are beginning to disgust me.

  9. I have to thank the fellow Bill O’Reilly for getting me to turn off the noise from unknowing media molesters – messing with my mind, changing a real truth to suit their view… the quiet around here is wonderful and classical music, good company and snow on the ground. God is good!

  10. I had already ranted about the ingrates dancing with glee on the blood of the innocents to further a political objective. Everybody that I have talked to have already stated “they ain’t getting my guns” if they want to start a civil war…that is a good way to do it. The people that are willing to give up their guns would be useless anyway,

  11. They assume they hold the moral high ground. Allows them to feel big, brave, and powerful. Oh, and they are much smarter than us. Of course, very few of them have ever put their asses on the line.

  12. I am not sure what everyone else thinks, but the rifles already out there will probably be grandfathered, this weekend AR-15s were sold in record breaking numbers. I am sure some people who never planned on an AR bought one, just in case they ever might want one. It seems counterproductive to increase gun control. It will just become a new black-market, kind of like running moon-shine back in the prohibition.

  13. Carteach- True…

Hunt- You DO have a point.

Jim P- What would YOU call it then?

Earl- Not a bad idea, and saves the BP anyway…

MrG- Yeah, this is going to be interesting…

WSF- Of course not, they PAY people to do that…

Lil Chantilly- Agree, but I think they are going to try to ‘ban’ transfer of EBRs to the next generation…
