This one is for Ev…
It’s damn near as big as what he used to fly…
Conjecture, but probably something around $20,000 sitting there…

That looks like FUN!
Spectacular, and it sounds good too. If I was going to put that much into a project, I think I’d want to fly it myself – there are a lot of homebuilts that probably cost less and would be way easier to build. Did anyone else notice the pilots’ movement in the cockpit?
Rev- Probably half fun/half fear… What if I screw up??? 🙂
Old surfer- Yep, that is a nice touch!
Impressive.
Almost like having the real thing fly over.
Yeah, the pilot touch was neat.
It even sounds like a B-25.
Most impressive.
The noise….
When they’re just idling on the ground….
chug a lug chug a lug cough chug a lug….
Now mount a little GoPro camera in the nose and go strafe some pedestrians!
BGM
I was just thinking … They’re Germans. Why not build an ME-262?
I agree with LL. I was thinking…Germans building a B-25? Didn’t they see enough of them in 1944/45?
Ed- That it IS!
LL- Yep, those are some interesting engines, and VERY realistic!
BG- Don’t give em any ideas… LOL
LL- Dunno, good question!
CP- see above! 🙂
Man, that even sounded right! (had an old Wasp radial at A&P school that we rebuilt for practice)
I can’t imagine the amount of pucker factor when trying to land that (1/4 scale?) monster.
The Germans are really fond (and good) at building large scale replicas of all sorts of aircraft.
Here’s a German version of the SR-71:
Scott- Yep, I’d be scared to death of dumping it myself!
Toejam- Good one, and yeah, that one sounded right too!
Severe envy.
WSF- More like panic here… LOL
Hey Jim, just got my computer back on line. VERIZON has been OOC for the last week or so.
Every single time I launch a new bird the pucker factor is right up there where the chute pack is embedded in the dark orifice till I get it back in the ground in one piece! There have been many,”aircraft incidents” and one where the bird just left here headed for Portugal with about $1800 worth of gear on board! SIGH!
