I agree. When I was a child we were given the chance to join the NRA youth shooting team. It was fun and educational. Then again that was back in the dark ages.

High schools in my day had shooting teams. But then we still had most of our basic freedoms, too. America was still a Constitutional republic back then, too.

In England, my daughter had to learn how to swim to pass 4th grade gym.
Not “understand what swimming was”, or “opt out and watch”.
She learned to swim, or didn’t pass gym class.
The Brits just figured it was one of those things you need to know how to do.
I always liked that attitude.
Those are two girls in this video… not only are they rather pretty, they alone have more balls than many of the “men” I encounter here at my university.
I’m not sure whether modern Russia is an oppressive police state or a haven of badassery. Maybe both.
