Had a nice chat with the Gunny at the airport while waiting for bags. He’s truly a nice guy, and at least 6 folks came up and asked for pictures with him, so I played duty photographer. Â He told a funny story about getting a 10mm Glock from Gaston Glock, with an ‘interesting’ serial number…
Did a quick check in at the Convention to get my media creds, and chatted with a gent from Outdoor Channel, and the good news is that Gun Stories will continue for another year with Joe Mantegna will be back as the host!!! 🙂
I also met a gent from Germany, who had attended the European show last month? and he was looking forward to his first NRA show. Â I think he will ‘enjoy’ the show and be amazed at the numbers of people that will be here…
Off to catch up with some folks, as I said before, if you want me to look for/at specific things, please let me know and I’ll do my best to get you answers…

I am on the back order wait list at the Patrick AFB AAFES BX/PX for a Sig Sauer P229 .357 SIG. Wander by the Sig Sauer booth, tell them, “Joe says, ‘Hello’,” and ask them what the production rate numbers are for the P229 at their Exeter, NH factory. Enjoy the convention and report some “Insider Stuff” to us 2nd Amendment faithful camped out here in the hinterlands.
