Everybody has been hearing about how much money is moving out of the Dems states…

Looks like the Tax Foundation has actually done a study…

Migration-AGI

Read the article HERE.

Now ‘my’ question is, will CA or NY fall first, or will it be IL or OH???  This could be one helluva horse race!!!

I can ‘hear’ the call now.  “And coming around the turn, it’s California and New Yawk neck and neck, but Ohio is right on their heels and Illinois is coming hard on the outside!  Michigan and New Jersey are coming hard up the rail and Ohio is about to get overtaken, and New Yawk is leading California by a nose… ”

  1. The figure shown for Alaska is suspect. We’ve been seeing info from the State showing that income is up slightly, and we have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.

    Measuring “the AGI of migrants” may be a way to paint a picture in hues the pollsters prefer. Or I could be wrong.

  2. It’s not just the workers that are moving… business are leaving taking jobs with them. I hear Texas is the mecca for businesses.

  3. There is NO REASON to build a business in a liberal state unless it’s something like a doctor’s office or a grocery store where you’re peddling necessary goods or it’s service related to residents.

  4. Hey Old NFO;

    It is good that money is leaving the liberal(blue) state because of the crappy policies. The bad thing is that a lot of liberals are leaving also and turning red states into the same crappy places that they left. You know the definition of insanity. Keep doing the same thing and hoping the results will be different this time.

  5. Rev- Not sure, but I know they’ve lost some minority owned business contracts up there…

    CP- That they are!

    LL- Damn good point!

    WSF- Californication…

    xS3- Isn’t it though…

    Bob- Gah, hadn’t thought of it THAT way… damn…
