Dunno what is going on, but I ‘think’ this hotel is probably the best ‘protected’ in the area… This morning I noted quite a few very fit young men and women in the lobby, and I’m betting every damn one had a weapon on them. When I went out to get in my truck, I counted at least 11 Tahoes/Suburbans in the parking lot, plus a few ‘undercover’ cars.
Yep, I think I will be able to sleep ‘well’ tonight… 🙂
And I’m severely outgunned… sigh…
Your ability to sleep well, there, is dependent on whether you’re on the “naughty” or “nice” list.

Might be best to sleep armed & clothed, encase things get stingee…
Maybe they heard you were coming and wanted to be prepared.

I was in Nashville Tn. a few years ago.
In the hotel that we were staying at there was a group like yours staying there too.
All was fine until around 0200 when their training commenced.
Blackhawks hovering over a building across the street accompanied by flash bangs.

Other people;s personal security make me nervous…. simply because they are OTHER people’s people. Not only are they not there to keep my chubby butt safe, they may in fact realize said chubby butt would make a fine bullet shield.
