Hey WN, guess what…

I got the same room in Adelaide Hilton again…

At least I now ‘know’ not to do THIS again…

And for those that were going yeah, right; photos affirm…

Here’s what I ‘thought’ was a blank wall with the curtain pulled all the way to the right.IMG_1654

And the view out the side window… Tennis court, one each… IMG_1653

Curtain WILL stay closed unless I’m fully dressed… sigh

  1. Once while staying at a Red Lion in the bay area, I took a shower, exited the bathroom to get dressed and unbeknownst to me, I didn’t close the hotel room door and step out into my room from the bathroom wearing nothing but a smile while shocking a family on vacation just trying to find their room. One time I was given the key to the wrong room, open the door to find an elderly couple sitting naked at the little table you find in most hotel rooms. Good times….

  2. I feel as if you refusing to participate in what could an important exchange in Australian/US relations.

Sidenote: The lady friend gets grumpy on occasion when I greet the UPS/FedEx/Cable/what have you guy in my shorts.

  3. Rev- LOL, probably…

Sid- Ah yes, the ‘joys’ of staying in hotels… 🙂

    Tim- Sometimes…. LOL

PH- Doubtful… She probably busted a gut laughing!

SPE- Heh, if it works, what’s the problem? 😀

    WSF- Probably…

  4. Bwaaaaahaaaaaahaaaaahaaaa!!! That’s great! Yeah, sounds like the hotel has your Number.
FYI, the Program that sent me to Australia two years ago, when I got to stay at your hotel? I was a DoD Contractor, no problems getting approved for the trip by the Program Office. This year? Our new Gov GS-1x has to go, doesn’t want to. My replacement, Contractor like me, wants to go, but Program Office won’t approve the travel funding. No more nice trips overseas for us!
Enjoy, be safe, catch you when you’re feet-dry on this side of the Pond.

  5. WN- Getting to be ‘fun’ isn’t it… sigh…Roger the catch up when back.

    Mrs. C- LOL

Dammit- Yeah, check BOTH sides of the curtain… sigh
