U.S. Optics…

They’re making a move…

U.S. Optics are makers are high end rifle scopes.  I have two of them, and they are some of the best glass I’ve ever used.  Those who’ve seen/shot my M-40A1 clone have seen the MRT and seen how good it is. my ‘backup’ scope is an old SN-9 from the 1990s and it’s as good a target scope as I’ve ever used. Now having said that, they are NOT cheap…

I’ve been to their operation, gotten a tour, and had them build custom turrets for both scopes cut to match the bullets I shoot.  They ARE a quality operation! They also do custom reticles based on the customer’s desires, and they stand behind their products!!!

They’re now looking to expand their reach, getting more into the commercial market and have gone outside the ‘house’ so to speak…

  1. Rev- nope NOT cheap. But excellent quality! That SN-9 is 17 years old and been on top of .308s the entire time. And NO problems.

  2. I have one Nikon optic on one AR and it’s mainly for show. Using it at 200-yds. never seemed to help my scores much and I’ve never really gotten into optics – and as example here these cost so much the price is out of reach.
I know you’re supposed to spends as much on the optic as your gun, and with my cheap-ass rifles three of ’em still wouldn’t buy one of those – which is why I still use iron sights…
