This is a nice mix of guns and booze and it’s also a cautionary notice to keep your single malt unadulterated.
Very thoughtful gifts indeed. Hopefully they came with a nice bottle of something aged and mellow.
Hey Old NFO;
Those look pretty neat and kudo’s to what Murphy said…Some John Walker Black label or some gray grouse if I remember my booze;)
LL- That it is!
Murph- Yep, some nice 15 year old Springbank!
Bob- See above… 😀
Those haven’t been outlawed?
Or capacity limited?
I’ve a dozen-or-so coffee cups with graphics by the same artist. I acquired them peacemeal representing either guns I owned or desired to own.
After the safe was taken, I now own mostly coffee cups.
At least that’s something.
PS – my favs are the 1911 and BHP!
gfa
Those are sweet..
Ed- Shhhh… 🙂
gfa- Good point! I didn’t know he’d done multiple types. Neat!
JUGM- Thanks! 😀
Last time I saw ’em was at the last gun show I attended. (Two years ago?)
There used to be two or three different manufacturers of vessels, and the artist sold framed art, as well!

Great gifts!
WSF- Yep, I love em! 🙂
Those are great!
I suppose you could observe that they simply provide a “bang” of a different sort. 🙂
The hell you say? US Optics is branching out? I’ll have to watch for that.
Bad Pun Alert,
You could get a bang out of these
Keads- Yep!
Rev- True, hadn’t thought of it ‘that’ way!
Paw- That they are, I think they’re going to bring out a line of ‘consumer’ scopes.
Rick- 😛 Bad…
Dang, I’d hock ma’s china for a cool set of those.
Dammit- LOL, they came out of Kali, so you can probably find them.
Should NEVER be mixed…
Then which one are you giving up?
I never tell another man his own limits. If you gan’t take a few drinks and still properly handle firearms, then I applaud your self control by getting rid of one of them.
Posit: There you are relaxing in the evening enjoying an adult beverage after a hard days work. Since guns and alcohol don’t mix, you have properly secured yours because you know when you are drinking you can’t stop yourself from shooting at the digs and neighbors’ kids. 12 guys from the local chapter of MS-13 break down the door and ask to borrow all of the valuables in your house. Do you thank God you locked up your guns? If you had a gun to hand, would to take a chance in your influenced state to attempt to defend your home anyway?
Any rule that will fit on a bumper sticker is probably a bad one.

Prof- Good point! And I’d do what I needed to do.
