I needz it…

aromatherapy

I’m STILL trying to figure out how we end up with one day off and get five days behind!!!

Short weeks suck!

But I’m planning (weather cooperating) on getting to the range this weekend, I found some Eley subsonic and I want to go see if it works as advertized…

I hope y’alls week has gone better than mine, and I hope y’all have a great weekend, wherever you may be!

  1. That aromatherapy method works for me, I find myself sniffing the chamber just for that old thrill that never gets old. The Aquila SSS round smells strange though. ???

‘kay, I’m stopping – this is getting weird … :^)

    Have fun.

  2. The weekend beckons, my friend…though the weather where you are doesn’t look like you’ll be able to see through the snow to hit the clays.

  3. A buddy gave me a box of Eley Subsonic Sniper for my new toy.
They cycled every time with a 22/45 and can.

  4. Eley was all I ever shot in college and high school for sanctioned rifle competition. I nearly killed my big sister one afternoon when she was plinking with some of my match grade stuff.

Armoatherapy is great until you go back to the store to restock and suffer wallet assault.

  5. LL- I can’t hit the damn things anyway…LOL

Rev- Not really, but they can wait! 🙂

Gerry- Gonna try that this weekend, along with some other stuff. Might do a video even 🙂

SPE- LOL, yeah NOT plinking ammo!

Keads- Another 20 degrees and it would be… 30s not so much!

    PH- Yes it does! 🙂

  6. I’ve been shooting a lot of blackpowder the past few years, love the smell of sulfur in the morning.

  7. When I was a kid, too little for my own shotgun, I’d go hunting with my dad. I can still remember picking up the spent shells after he’d fire and sniffing them. What’s really amazing is that now, almost 50 years later, I can fire my shotgun, eject the shell, pick it up and sniff. Suddenly, I’m six years old again, walking through the pine woods of North Carolina with my dad. Wow. Thanks for the reminder.
