To do…

Maxine gets it…
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
*
They travel miles in the heat.
*

They risk their lives crossing a border.

*

They don’t get paid enough wages.

*

They do jobs that others won’t do or are afraid to do.
*
They live in crowded
conditions among a people who speak a different
language.
*
They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every
day.

I’m not talking about illegal Mexicans,  I’m talking about our troops!

Doesn’t it seem strange that so many are willing to lavish all kinds of social
benefits on illegals, but don’t support our troops?

Wouldn’t it be great if we took the $360,000,000,000 (that’s billion) we spend on
illegals every year, and spend it on our troops!!!
That way they could actually MAKE $15 an hour that the SJBs seem to want for all their butt buddies that work in McDonalds…
And fix some airplanes, and ships, and tanks and vehicles. What a novel concept, actually give the troops things that work!
Yesterday was Independence Day, and today people are rueing their hangovers, sunburns and eating too much yesterday. But they have already forgotten who got them to this point…

  1. I think that we should spend $0 on illegal aliens.

And I can’t imagine a military where people were paid minimum wage with overtime. I don’t recall a single deployment where I worked less than every waking hour. True, we got paid the pittance for killing America’s enemies, and it seemed worth it. Killing people for a living isn’t bad work, but if they paid me $15 an hour to do it – back when I signed up, I would have been in tall cotton.

  2. I like LL’s idea, but doubt it will happen as there are so many government jobs that exist because of illegals…

    • You can’t “bill” a sovereign country. That’s what “sovereign” means. It sounds nice, but it is totally imparactical. In same cases, I may be nearly impossible to force them to even take their own citizens back. Imagine if a foreign worker has no I.D. and refuses to divulge where he is from. Why would any other country claim him as their own?

  3. Americans have been blessed, perhaps too much, and – like spoiled children everywhere – have disregarding all they’ve been given because it didn’t cost them anything.

The answer is obvious, of course, but I pray it needn’t come to that.

  4. LL/WSF- Yeah, I WOULD HAVE LOVED to be paid $15/hr… Hell, I didn’t make $15/hr when I retired after 22 years…

    Dammit-Agreed!

    Rev- Well said, and true.

Rick- Thank you! THAT is the price the left refuses to recognize!!!

  5. For a minute there I thought you were talking about Missionaries. My dad didn’t even make minimum U.S. wage, but it was more than the impoverished locals got – and we got Zilch-Nada NO support whatsoever from the US Consulate or the other rich-ass Foreign Service bastards in air-conditioned comfort in Delhi. Ugly Americans indeed. We were in a different army, God’s army.
