Gareth Hector is a UK based artist who works in both traditional and digital mediums.
Interestingly, he not only does aviation paintings, but has also worked with video games companies, done story boards, and worked as an art director. Quite the diverse portfolio!
I always liked the FW-190 as a fighter. It embodied all of the traits of what a fighter aircraft should be with few of the flaws. Great art.
It is not nearly as easy as one would think to get clouds right. Masterfully done!
LL- Yep, they were state of the art.
Brig- True!
Surgeon friend of mine bought a rehab-able FW190.
I’m not sure there is one flying, so if he can get it up and running, it’ll be worth a FORTUNE.
He’s working on his ME-109 right now.
That Focke-Wulf isn’t at Kissimmee Gateway, is it? If so, I’ve seen it! Well, parts of it…
GB- Oh wow, yes it would!!!
I am a big fan of the FW-190s. Thanks for sharing this.
Great art work
