Yeesh, I may have created a monster…

But y’all wanted an original brochure for a Power Wagon and …

Voila…

dodge-pw-1 dodge-pw-2 dodge-pw-3

The only one I found was from 1950, but it does show the PTO, 4WD, and LOW/HI range levers you got in addition to the floor shift (unsynchronized with a granny low).

  1. I’ll take one! Don’t bother wrapping it, I’ll drive it out.

    Ray

  2. Ray- I saw one for sale while I was searching for a brochure… $92K!!!

WSF- We had a 53 on the farm, don’t know for sure where it came from, but a Jeep would have probably been easier to learn how to drive on! 🙂

  3. Dang, that makes the International Farm-all look sleek and sporty. (IH Farm-all, AKA the Hutterite Bus because so many of the colonies in the Dakotas have one or two or three for “going to town.”)

  4. TXRed- Yep, that it does… And that’s one truck I hadn’t thought of in YEARS!!!

Keads- Yeah, not ‘your’ cup of tea, but some of us country folks like ’em… LOL

  5. My dad drove one for a while when we lived in the South Pacific. Might have been a mid-50s
    version, or earlier.

I spent a lot of time riding in the back holding on to the front of the bed. The roads were so bad dad used to get out of the truck and nail bridges over creeks back together before we drove across them. Hauled tons of stuff and lots of native hitchikers.
    Good times.

I got curious and looked some up a few months ago. Out of my price range for sure now.

  6. a friend of mine restored one a few years ago, it’s certainly a beast. And just yesterday I saw one, painted in camo, in the supermarket parking lot.

  7. Leon- LOL, yours mine and anybody with any sense…

B&B- Interesting, wonder if they use it for a hunting truck?
