Hillary once again conflates terrorism and gun ownership…

“But I’m looking at violence broadly,” Clinton added. “It’s also why I’ve advocated gun-safety reform, like comprehensive background checks, closing the gun-show loophole, closing the online loophole — because, you know, it’s not only terrorists we need to be worried about.

And yet ‘another’ failure of the background check to stop a criminal from getting a gun…

New York bombing suspect Ahmad Rahami passed a background check to acquire the handgun he used to shoot two police officers as they closed in on him September 19.

The gun–a Glock 9mm–was acquired from a retailer in Salem, Virginia, in July.

But Everymom, etc. keep calling for MORE background checks…

  1. But, but, but, He can’t couldn’t buy a gun in Vaginia!
He’s a New Yawker. How could that be?
Do you mean to imply that bad guys (and gals) can buy guns by lying or with false id? Or God forbid illegally? Or even worser (worser, a word my younger brothers came up with in place of even worse) on a local street corner.

  2. But she tells us repeatedly she doesn’t want to take our guns.
Just like she never had classified info on her server.

  3. Roger- Well, he had a ‘valid’ VA ID… sigh Probably paid less than what it would have cost him on a street corner in NYC.

    Ed- Yep… sigh

  4. The definition of law-abiding citizens are folks who FOLLOW the law, not figure out ways around it.

I’m sure Hillary is 100% on board with that…

  5. If Hillary wins, it’s going to be a long, dark spell from which what’s left of the USA will probably not recover. I pray that DOESN’T happen, and am reminded: “If it’s time to bury your firearms, it’s probably time to use them.”

  6. The only reason the Dems push for gun legislation is to start pushing the camel into the tent. The end result will be a gradual de facto ban on guns in the US.

  7. And Keith Lamont Scott, late of Charlotte, was a convicted felon barred by law from owning a gun. Yet he had a gun.
