Building on success…

After hitting a high of 82 in ALL of Amazon book sales with The Lawdog Files, and being number one in multiple categories, Lawdog is moving the release of the Africa stories up (well, his publisher is), which is leading to much high hovering, etc… LOL

And Peter Grant, who grew up in South Africa, is writing the forward for this one! This should be good! πŸ™‚

I read the rough last night, and all the ‘good’ stories are there, plus a few you might not have seen… It’s available for pre-order, with a rollout planned for the 10th of August.

This is the ‘approved’ cover. Β Click on it to get your pre-order in, and lets drive Lawdog up the walls again! πŸ™‚

The Blurb-

LawDog had the honor of representing law and order in the Texas town of Bugscuffle as a Sheriff’s Deputy, where he became notorious for, among other things, the famous Case of the Pink Gorilla Suit. But long before he put on the deputy’s star, he grew up in Nigeria, where his experiences were equally unforgettable, and in most cases, every bit as funny. In THE LAWDOG FILES: AFRICAN ADVENTURES, LawDog chronicles his encounters with everything from bush pilots, 15-foot pythons, pygmy mongooses, brigadier-captains, and Peace Corp hippies to the Nigerian space program.

THE LAWDOG FILES: AFRICAN ADVENTURES are every bit as funny as the previous volume, as LawDog relates his unforgettable experiences in a laconic, self-deprecating manner that is funny in its own right. Africa wins again, and again, and again, but, so too does the reader in this sobering, but hilarious collection of true tales from the Dark Continent.

As he reminded me, his stories like mine don’t contain actual people’s names… Contrary to what some folks say… Just sayin…

  1. What I want to know is how many vials of smelling salts did y’all need to use to bring him back around when he saw the results from Larry Correia’s book bomb? Lol.

August 10 works for me as I’m going on a short vacation the following week. DH can go look at tractors and steam engines, I will curl up in the motor home and read a good book πŸ™‚

  2. Great! Glad you all dragged him, kicking and screaming, out of his shell and made him get this done! Thank you!

Senior Minion #1 told someone at Libertycon that the characters in your books are very much real people. She was pointing at me when she said it!
