Sigh…
Nothing like physical therapy to get you off on a hurting foot to start the week. I was duly folded, spindled, and mutilated yesterday morning, and I’m STILL stiff…
Almost 85000 words on the 5th Grey Man, so getting down to the final bits/pieces, but I’m not going to have it out for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, got most of the presents at least ordered, but there are some folks that are an absolute b***h to buy for… Double sigh…
So I’m just going to roll with the punches, and make it through the week…
Y’all have a good one!
You are retired, so deadlines are just a word now. If the new book is finished after the new year begins, who gets hurt ?
Take Life as it comes in and don’t sweat the small stuff. The holidays takes a toll on all of us – everybody needs time to chillax and rest too !
What, I’m easy to buy for.
Hey Old NFO;
J.R said it right, you ARE retired, the only deadlines you have are self imposed. Don’t sweat it. Enjoy your time getting folded, mutilated and spindled.
Is it scary that I understand the diagram?
j.r./Bob- Good point!
B- LOL
PE- I figured you would… 😀
… and some days, the bear eats you. No worries at all, my friend; we’ll wait. 🙂
Only an engineer would use that illustration. Good job!
Have you tried hunting? It relaxes me a lot, try buying a gun from http://www.hinterlandoutfitters.com
Don’t be jealous, but we finished our Christmas shopping and wrapping a week ago. Now on the short calendar until the 25th. We all even have our ugly sweaters to wear at the gathering.
‘That Illustration’ I haven’t almost failed physics in almost 40 years. Boy did a lot of dust blow off that memory or what?
Thanks for the flashback. Oh yeah, don’t listen to those lazy retired people, finish that thing BEFORE Christmas. Grrr. (or not)
All- Thanks for the comments.
Posted from my iPhone.
Just remember Motrin is your friend, along with a hot shower, and a heating pad on for 30 min, off for a couple of hours.
Yes, I really want #5 by Christmas, however, don’t stress about it as I am working practically every day up until Christmas. Besides, my birthday isn’t until after Jan 1, so I wont have much time to read until after New Year’s. And since you are semi-retired, deadlines are more like guidelines than hard and fast rules, right??
And I officially hate Coffeypot. I still have to make candy for Mom and Dad, and get in the mail, as well as Christmas cards, and to get up some sort of decorations. Maybe a tree? Basically I need another week between now and Christmas, besides what is already on the calendar.
Please, Santa. 🙂
Angular momentum makes the world go ’round.
Suz- LOL, thanks… And yeah, that stuff sneaks up on us…
