Noticed something interesting in the last week. When I try to load your webpage while running a proxy that says I ‘m in the UK, it won’t load. Switched to US and the site loaded right away. Interesting, no? I’ve had similar problems with Drudge Report lately.
Thought Police at work. Have had similar problems with some foreign sites lately.
Remember, and stand fast in their honor.
Awful dusty all the sudden.
lump in the throat…..o7
With a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat, I say Thank you
well, now that I have dug the dust out of my eyes, I can type this – here’s an article that I thought was very appropriate for consideration and reflection today.
(Beans also saw it since he posted the link in comments to today’s post at Chant du Depart)
I’ve said “I have the watch” many times but never when I anticipated not making it back. Damn, this day always gets me. I heard a phrase, on NPR of all places, that summed it up nicely: “Protect the innocent; heal the wounded; honor the dead”. The people I know who have not served are puzzled when I try to explain…
Thank you and amen… all I can say.
JMI/Beans- Interesting… I didn’t know I had a problem…
All- Thanks for the comments, and yes, it did get dusty over here too.
Posted from my iPhone.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Bless Them All…
CP- Amen
